I'm completely deaf in my right ear and I use a hearing aid in my left. Hasn't stopped me from being a bit of a music snob.

Depression and anxiety. I recently stopped taking medication for because my new doctor said I should try to go without it, not sure how long that will last. OCD but it isn't too bad.

My whole family suffers from varying degrees of depression/anxiety/OCD.

Aspergers -- light end of ASD, now, I guess -- major depression, anxiety.

I have hearing problems, though I'm not deaf. It makes ignoring people fun.

However, watching TV can be annoying, and sometimes I miss words in songs which can be awkward later on.

Me: I love that song! It's so carefree and innocent.

Depression with a psychotic component, social anxiety, recurring obsessions and compulsions that may or may not qualify as OCD, degenerative joint disease, chronic fatigue and pain that has left doctors shrugging and going "fibro?", um, I think that's it? I feel like I'm forgetting something...

Depends on your definition, I don't define myself as disabled, not even when I am on crutches - except jokingly to friends.

But: Fibromyalgia, chronic migraines also does no depth perception count?

Also hopefully no mental disorders anymore, used to as a kid.

Aww, this thread is making me sad :( I have ADHD and some things that come from it especially since I wasn't diagnosed until late last year.

Dystonia is the major one.

Combo platter of anxiety and dyscalculia made school fun...

And then also Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, but not very much. I'm an orphan-disease specialty.

Asperger's, OCD, and ADHD. (though I kinda think the OCD and ADHD are part of Tourette's, I mean I did also have some vocal/facial tics when I was young, and still do now, somewhat.)

I have joint hyper-mobility, and while I always thought it was cool and never saw it as a disability - the older I get the more I'm starting to realize it will actually be a problem. Especially combined with being overweight. I've been limping for a few months now, my left shoulder seems to be out of its socket more often than not, my thumb joints just hurt a lot, and I can eat chewing gum because my jaw will lock.

I also have high blood pressure, which sadly seems genetic - at least, my mom has it, too, though she got it later in life.

I'm also prone to depression and anxiety, and I'm currently doing worse in that regard again, though I've literally had years where it was not a problem.

I have a math disability - probably dyscalculia, maaaybe dysgraphia.

At least anxiety. I may or may not have something else but various doctors and therapists have all given me wildly different opinions; my emotional issues, at least, are not debilitating. The anxiety can be, though.

Only physical thing is rosacea, thankfully (undiagnosed, but I fit the symptoms pretty spot on). Although I'm probably guaranteed to get diabetes and/or heart problems. Thanks genetics!

I have a seizure disorder, which is incredibly awkward in public, because while my meds have decreased the amount I have, I will still sometimes have a few.

I actually had 2 yesterday, while I was trying to be An Adult and So Professional, which is not possible when you are not conscious for a while, and minimally conscious for sometime after.

I was sort of diagnosed with generalized anxiety by a therapist. I don't have depression but some days feel down more than others. But that's probably more in due part to being a caregiver to my mom. No disabilities and am actually pretty healthy.

I've never been diagnosed with anything cause I don't go to doctors but people (family and friends) tell me they think I have depression and (I guess kinda bad) social anxiety. So that's cool.

Your good ol' depression and anxiety. My family has a host of mental problems. Some of the shit that goes way back with past relatives that my mom likes to talk about on car rides makes me go bug-eyed.

To be precise, seasonal affective disorder is one thing for me. This winter has been really, reaaaaaaally shitty. I bought myself a happy light though and that's helped surprisingly more than I thought it would.

Unfortunately, my family is kinda anti-medication. Not because they don't believe it works. My mom's been on meds for years. Just a lot of them have had terrible experience with doctors, hospitals, therapists, etc, all that shit. So they tend to be biased.

That, and I have strong reactions to even just weak drugs. So that doesn't help. I hope to change that soon though. *crosses fingers*
