9. I miss the first season of Pokemon. :( Once they changed the theme song and Brock left it just wasn’t the same.

25. I hated the prequels, but that’s because my daddy made me watch the originals when I was five, so I grew up on them. Doesn’t mean I would look down on anyone who loves Episodes I, II, or III though.

27. That’s why I love hanging out at capslock_zutara. We have fun, we don’t take our ship too seriously, and we have awesome smut. I don’t pretend that Zutara is (or will be) canon. I like my ship, I like reading and writing fic for it. But I don’t like the gloating or the wank and I definitely don’t like people who pretend that they know what is going to happen by the end of Book 3. We have no idea what’s going to happen.

Okay, and I need to be careful how I word this because I don't want anyone to jump down my throat. Take what I say next here as a completely innocent question, I'm not trying to disprove your OTP guys: Does Aang kissing Katara really make it canon on Katara’s part? Just speaking from personal experience, a kiss does not guarantee reciprocated feelings. I think we’ll need a bit more exploration before we can really call Kataang canon on both sides. And we still have plenty of episodes left, and Aang still needs to defeat Ozai. Can he achieve the Avatar State if he is still holding on to Katara?

I think Aang/Katara is pretty apparent endgame even without the kiss factor, but that is just because I don't think they are going to pull anything out on a limb in regards to shipping. And Katara has shown signs of reciprocating, it just hasn't been blatant.

And on the Avatar state, I think Aang's decision is going to be upheld. Iroh backed him up on it, and Iroh is the moral center of the show, and I just don't see them putting so much into how Aang feels about her to not reciprocate it.

29. Is the placement over Nathan coincidental, or are you saying Nathan would be better for Toki? Just curious. As far as my thoughts go, I'm a big fan of Skwisgaar/Toki. They fight a lot, yeah, but when it comes down to it they always team up together by choice. When Toki chooses to use his free time building model planes or playing DDR alone, I think fighting with the only guitarist faster than him in the world is a fine counterpoint to throw into the mix. I just crack up watching them. Love it.

And I wholeheartedly agree, the scandies are, as mentioned, my OTP, it's just that sometimes I get a pang of ... well, it's not quite pity for Toki, but it's something.

He needs somebody who'll defend him, not dump buckets of blood on his head when he messes up. There's more to it than that, but that's the best example.

Oh yes, my hate for her was absolutely ridiculous - but I enjoyed mutilating the rest of the cast, too (I killed Kel in one fic and George in another, and I love them both. O.o I was just weird, I think).

I liked Joren. I thought he was a great antagonist for the Kel series, and I was totally disappointed when they killed him off. The whack killing-machine-making guy was kind of a boring villain, IMHO. He had nothing on Roger. :P

Exactly. That was my point. I was just pointing-out that WoW can be just as addictive and vicariously damaging as drugs or alcohol. Crack and booze in and of themselves don't ruin lives, it's peoples' addiction to it that is damaging.

37. I'll be honest... all through that arc I was thinking, "Can we get back to Misuzu and Yukito now?" I'll probably skip this entire arc on my next viewing. It was good for background on the series and I did like the characters but they're just not as endearing to me as Misuzu and Yukito. I didn't cry for Kanna like I did for Misuzu. Also, I don't see why you can't write afterlife fic. You don't have to be held that rigidly to canon. Just make it AU.
