Heh glad you changed your mind, OP! I have also fallen victim to Barisi. I wasn't too keen on Sonny in his first few eps, but now I melt at the very sight of him. And every scene he has with Barba is just GOLD. I was actually thinking of making a Barisi secret, but you beat me to it.

(Sonny kinda reminds me of Ray Kowalski from Due South, which may be partly why I adore him so much.)

Ah, yes. Sadly, Sengoku Basara fandom seems to have gotten quieter lately (although I have to admit I haven't been actively following it for a while, either). But it was great fun in all it's OTT- and slashyness.
I'm not actively shipping most of the flagships, unfortunately, and my favourite characters never were the most popular but there still was some quality stuff to be found here and there.
