Carlo is the best thing about that book :)
I cried when I read it too. It shouldn't matter if you're a guy or not. (am a girl, but whatevs.)

I sort of mildly hate it though. De Bernieres is up his own arse and being examined in it ruins it more.

However, Carlo is awesome!
