19. Hell, I ship Light and L and I hate the thoughts of them being kawaaii boyfriends, that's not why I ship it. It's a bit more complicated, hell I don't know if I'd even want them to get together, as such, because it'd be easily done wrong. I find it very hard to read fic for them, because of that. They're just... interesting.

57. I LOVED Apollo Justice, a surprising amount, actually. I was really expecting to be disappointed, but it almost gave me a newfound love for the series. Honestly? If they kept things the way they were, I think I would've gotten bored.

19. I would read Ryuuk/Light over L/Light any day, even though the former is impossible on multiple levels. If only because, despite the impossibility, it still makes more sense to me. And no, you're not the only one that likes Misa. Misa's hot like fire awesome.

44. Thank you for making me not feel so guilty. I didn't dislike Miyazaki's vision of it, mind you, but that wasn't at ALL the Howl's Moving Castle that I read. That wasn't even my Sophie, my Howl, my Witch of the Waste (where's the pretty, evil bitch?), and certainly not my Michael (Markl? Huh? What?). I just consider the movie to be a "What If?" and leave it at that. If I think about it any deeper, I get angry.

26. First: Yay! ASOIAF!

Okay, specifically, I'm glad to see that Cersei has fans. I quite liked her, or at any rate enjoyed her, up until AFfC. (I liked the book, BTW. I wasn't disappointed.) However, I felt her chapters in particular suffered from Martin's decision to remove the five year gap - a decline into madness and paranoia that should have been developed over a long arc of the story seemed to happen very suddenly - she seemed mildly competent and intelligent before Feast. Then she became this utterly barmy incompetent, and I didn't like that.

44/ I liked both... And I don't really see the big deal. Plenty of times books have been made into movies and the movie doesn't stay true to the book. It happens.

My big deal (not the OP and I do like the movie) is that there was so much in the book that I was really looking forward to seeing in the movie...and it just didn't happen. There's not staying true to the letter of the book, like in the LotR movies, where changes have to be made, but overall, it's the same story. Then there's not staying true to the overall book itself, like Stuart Little and, I hate to say it, Howl's Moving Castle. Beautiful movie, disappointing adaptation.
