54. Not smart enough to be in the Berserk fandom? Berserk is bloody and serious, but you don't have to write a thesis on it to be accepted into the fnadom. I don't take much stock in "higher purpose" or "symbolism" in a story-at it's core Berserk is about people, and thats what I love about it.

06. I agree with you. Try The Charioteer by Mary Renault, if you're looking for a fix? And there's definitely some Jack/Jack floating around if you're into Torchwood fandom (unless that's the fandom you're talking about). If you mean RPF, well, it's not my thing, but console yourself with the knowledge that Churchill had a one-night stand with Ivor Novello.

13. I could never really get into TRC, but Tokyo Babylon is the best thing CLAMP ever wrote, IMO.

45. Ouran is not meant to make sense. That is to say, it does, but only a very specialised kind of sense. The kind where actual logic goes out the window and the Rule of Funny comes in. Spirited Away...hmmm. There were elements which confused me the first time through (for example, what the hell was No-Face's character supposed to be doing? What the hell is up with those train stations?), but afterwards I realised that while there may be other reasons, their main purpose is to make Chihiro's world seem weirder and more magical. There was a curse on the golden seal! Chihiro stomped it! It's the rules of the world they're in - so long as they make vague sense and aren't violated by the story, everything's hunky-dory. Just go with it.

46. Friend me! I don't actually talk about the show much, but I love it and would be happy to blather about it. (My favourite episode ever is the one where Ted has to kick Bishop Brennan up the arse. Closely followed by that one where they get the priests from the Vatican to come and upgrade their relic. "That would be an ecumenical matter!")

48. Um. I don't know what to say. If slash is making you uncomfortable about gay people in general, I think you should take a big step back from fandom. It's not worth hurting your best friend.

55. I liked him, but don't get in too much of a twist about it. There'll be another shiny minor character along in a couple of episodes. Possibly next week, if people can get past their knee-jerk reactions of "Mary Sue".

You can argue until the cows come home whether he loves Yuuri in a romantic sense or not or whether Yuuri'll end up with Wolfram or Conrad or Murata or Elizabeth or Shinou or something but you can't argue that Conrad and Wolfram love each other and that Conrad would not want to see Wolfram hurt and for whatever reason, a lot of fans (not just ConYuu fans but like... all fans) seem to forget this fact.
