Same. I downright can't function if I haven't slept for 12+ hours. The most I can stay awake, without any physical activity, is ten hours. I'm extremely grateful that my parents keep me in and help me to fix myself despite my age.

Dr. Kroger was one of my favorite characters. I've got a weird love for the secondary characters in most shows. He and the Captain have always been my main loves in that show. I was absolutely devastated when I heard that he died. Every time I watch re-runs, when he comes on the screen all I can say is "poor Dr. Kroger". It REALLY makes me wonder how they are going to write this into the show.

I think my all time most favorite Dr. Kroger moment was when he was part of the intervention to save Adrian from the cult. The time he spent in that little room with him just completely sealed my love for him. RIP Stanley.

I think you may be entirely missing the point. The point was that love doesn't have to be synonymous with sex. Hideki was accepting the fact that he wouldn't have sex with her because he loved her so much. To him, she was more than just a computer, and that's why he was willing to sacrifice that for her. The reason her button was put there was so that she wouldn't become just a glorified sex doll. That's why she had to find someone who would treat her like something more.

Besides, she's a computer. She doesn't have nerve endings or anything. She would draw no pleasure from sex. Her personality is such that she probably understand it anyway.

Okay... wait a moment. I'm totally unfamiliar with this fandom, but it sounds like they gave this chick an "off" switch in her vagina and you are saying the point is so she doesn't turn into a sex doll.

Why give her a vagina at all if she wasn't meant to use it? She could have just been anatomically incorrect. Why put an off switch where it would be highly embarrassing and difficult to turn it off if for some reason you had to shut her down? And how would not having a switch in her snatch keep her from being a turned sex bot? And isn't a bit puritanical to design a robot to look sexy just so they can shake their fingers at those who might want to have sex with a completely intelligent and emotionally responsive person?
