I used to be like that. I used to troll fics on ff.net and leave hate comments about a certain character. There was a webpage dedicated to said character that I used to lurk - no trolling, just obsessively lurking. But the hate turned to love. Now she's one of my favorites. 69. I kind of doubt Wilson would be removed from the show that easily. He's a pretty stable main character, as well as an integral part of House's character as well. As you mentioned, House would be a huge mess without Wilson around. It is a scary thought though (especially with the recent turn of events ;___;).

82. I for one care little about the "new fans" that have developed from things such as The Abridged Series. Heck, I couldn't be happier to see the fandom so alive and active right now. I always assumed that once Yuugiou was finished, the whole thing would take a nose dive and we'd all have to move on. I'm not a fan of GX or 5 D's, but I appreciate the existence of the fans and the longevity of the overall YGO fandom. I'd choose a young, slightly naive yet lively fanbase over an older, wiser but deathly quiet fanbase.

Also, not all us old school fans have gone away. I've been a part of the fandom for at least 6 years, and I'm not planning on leaving anytime soon. :>

Seriously. It's even something I ranted about on fanficrants a few months back and how the PR fandom has this difficulty with separating the characters from the actors and vice-versa. It's disturbing how many PR fic writers can't seem to understand that Thuy Trang =/= Trini Kwan, and that it's perfectly possible to have the character be alive and well past 2001. It's horribly disrespectful to her memory and her character, and I find it disgusting, especially since Trini has long been one of my favorite Rangers.

What's worse, I've found that most of those fics also have Trini die in a car crash, just like Thuy did. That's even more insulting, if you ask me, and does nothing to "send a message" or "pay tribute to her memory" like the authors claim. The fandom needs to stop fawning over this idea and start looking down upon these authors so that maybe it'll finally stop.

67. I've never read a Clamp manga before but I agree with you about Tezuka, Miura, and Miyazaki. Their art varies in level of detail but it is easy enjoy the art. I've always liked Miura's art and it's just amazing to see how much he's improved over the years.

76. The Silent Hill games scare the hell out of me but I play them anyway. My first play through always takes forever because I'm so scared of every thing and just inch forward. But the second go round is much easier since I know where the scary stuff happens. A lot of people rag on SH4 but to me that was one of the scariest games in the series.

Totally agree. Thuy =/= Trini and I wish they'd learn that, the actors aren't their characters. While they may share characteristics, they aren't one in the same.

And having Trini die in a car crash like Thuy did --- it's distrubing really. I wish people didn't do it, because it's just a horrible reminder and insult to her memory.

I honestly don't think I've ever mourned an actress more than her, and to make it worse I didn't find out till like 2006 D:

Awwwwww, I heart you. That is such complete bull. For me? Atton Rand. Never heard of him? That's because he's an obscure video game character in Knights of the Old Republic II. Yeah, he took over my mind when I was with my ex. Created a couple of... awkward moments. Lol. Fantasies and crushes are completely normal. Hey, at least it was a fictional character! Your ex was a douche. Even if it had been Anthony instead of "Tony," breaking up over a dream you couldn't control that was essentially harmless was, for lack of a better word, stupid. He's crazy and you're better off. Lol. I'm glad that some of the comments made you feel better. (And I share the Tony love... how could anyone resist?!)

I know what you mean, and immediately upon reading this secret I had the same feeling. Actually, my initial response was "House would become Snape", losing the only person in his life that brought genuine love and friendship, and basically, become even more hostile than he already is.

But then I thought about it a bit more, and I really believe that if something happened to Wilson (which I hope never does), that Cuddy would step up. I think she'd make a huge effort to keep House from spiraling into... idk, insanity or whatever would follow. Because I think that she really does care about him, even though he is incredibly frustrating to her professionally. I think that she even likes him as a person more than she lets on. I don't think she would let him keep going without any positive or reliable friendship and support. I'm not a House/Wilson shipper and I am not any kind of hardcore House/Cuddy shipper (though I wouldn't mind if that happened in the show), but I do think that she is the other person that House has in his life, and she would help him if he needed it.

67. I totally hear you on the "staring at the same page for three minutes trying to make sense of an action sequence" with CLAMP. Also, it makes me want to bash my head against a wall when people compare the character designs in AL/Chobits/Holic/Tsubasa to those in X and go on about "how much CLAMP's art quality dropped". Excess of detail =/= good art. Can't say I like your bottom left example much, though.

72. Agreed. I for one can't watch the scene where he insists he's himself and still think his ending was as good as the game made it out to be. And WTF people seriously hate Roxas for being angsty? They don't know "angsty" then. And yeah, I think the "I guess my summer vacation is over" scene was the saddest scene in the game.

76. It doesn't get really hard until about half-way through, when you lose your free healing method. But do play it, SH4 is awesome and the horror works far better than in SH2 and SH3.
