40 - I don't like being one of those annoying "the manga is ALWAYS soooooo much better" animanga people but uh...the manga is so much better. I love, love, love the Houshin Engi manga, but the anime was...disappointing.

Still, if you like it, you shouldn't be ashamed. There are far crappier shows out there that other people publicly adore.

Frankly though, I don't really get the "cheer up, emo kid" position people take on him comes from. He was perfectly happy and cheerful with his fake friends and wtf, wouldn't you be a little upset to if you found out you were an artifical person?! I would! >(

i think you're allowed to be upset and a bit pissed off if you find out basically everything you've ever believe in is a total lie and you weren't meant to exist and that its been decided that its better for the world if you disappear so someone else can carry on.

53. Honestly, I wasn't even happy that they tried to make Susan into a fighter. In The Horse and His Boy, it clearly states that Susan isn't a warrior, she stays behind while Lucy and Edmund go to battle to save Archenland. If they wanted to make Susan "cool", I think that there are other ways to go about it than turning her into Xena.

And I hated the kiss. During that scene all I could think about was fanbrats who can't read screaming that Caspian/Susan was "CANNON". I think the only saving point was when I remembered that in the next movie we'll be meeting Caspian's wife.
