Hahaha, that's a doujin for two characters from the series Katekyo Hitman Reborn. XD They're not having sex in canon, but it's easy to see where the shippers come from. I personally love the manga, but I know people who think it drags, especially through the first like... sixty chapters, orz.

Those two are Xanxus (the pissy one with scars) and Superbi Squalo (the long-haired one getting kicked in the head); they show up in the Varia arc, which starts around chapterrrrr... 82. (:

1. Here's hoping you never have/will watch FMA. Watching everything but the last episode will be such a mind-fuck. I can probably think of a few other stories that you'd be in such a major cliff-hanger over, but... nothing's coming to me, right this second.

33. Well, I thought of a response to this, but I think I'll just leave it alone. Just going to say that telling someone that they can't claim -everyone else- is wrong, and then calling them an idiot pretty much sounds hypocritical. "You're all wrong, stop treating everyone else like they're all wrong."

It would be hypocritical if the secret said a person wasn't allowed to have a favorite ship or prefer particular seme/uke dynamics in a pairing. They are addressing the people, and I have SEEN a lot of these people, who will bitch at you for days and call you an idiot because your favorite pairing is so stupid/sick/not canon/etc etc so forth. Or worse, because you disagree with the way they see their favorite ship. That's idiotic, and saying that's idiotic isn't hypocritical unless I'm doing the same thing.

Sorry, I actually didn't mean to make this sound wanky if it does, it's just that I share the OP's pet peeve and wanted to point out that it isn't hypocracy, and couldn't think of any other ways to word it.

67. I think you have a point. When I read TRC the panel layout kept confusing me. This isn't something just TRC does, a lot of comics have this problem (example: many webcomics and a large amount of manga I've read). However it is a good example of it. Making Comics by Scott McCloud talks about this way better than I could in pages 32-49 TRC has too much going on and it's all really loud. This can become confusing. (On the other hand, maybe I just like simple layouts.)

67: Miura's art is often EXTREMELY detailed and busy and can be very unclear at times due to excess of detail. Granted, he knows composition and how to make a fight scene flow, but please don't include him as an example of good when your complaint is "too much detail."

I want to thank you.

I don't get into the pro-choice/pro-life debate, because I feel that I've got a personal reasons for this.

Everyone told my mom to have an abortion, and she defied them. So... I feel that I'm biased in my stance and not allowed to argue or put in my two cents.

But seeing you, and people defend you make me smile. Especially in a place like this. Because I like what I've got going for me, and am glad I've been given the chance.

It's hard to find someone who'll meet what you know to be your emotional needs, and probably no one will ever meet them perfectly, but my advice is that if you do meet your Katara, or someone like her, stop yourself from pushing them away before they get the chance to realize that they're what you need, and you're what they need. Friendship is a two way street, so give your Katara love. Plan heists with her.

Just some off the top of the head tips from a Katara to her best friend's Toph who doesn't know the specifics of your situation, but likes to toss in her two cents anyhow.

53) I haven't read the books and I haven't seen Prince Caspian yest so maybe my opinion doesn't matter much, but I thought movie!Susan was pretty boring. She's the sibling I always forget exists. That said, I'm not really a politically charged person, but I hated seeing that part in the commercials, too. Disney couldn't have done a better job of portraying the damsel in distress stereotype scenario with Caspian riding in all majestic and gorgeous and Susan looking up at him all googly-eyed. Ugh.

33. SO MUCH WORD. SO. MUCH. WORD. Especially for the second bit, because there is maybe like... ONE fandom where I can understand having static shipping and other the pairings feel off to me- mostly because the series is very much about the characters' relationships and how that influences their development, etc, so changing a pairing really does change the characters involved. But even then I don't care if other people do so, I just can't see a way to do it and keep IC.

BUT THE SEME/UKE THING PISSES ME OFF SOMETIMES. I can get people having a preference, but the ones who insist "loool so-and-so is such a uke he could never top!!!" make me roll my eyes. HE'S STILL MALE. HE STILL HAS A DICK. He's not a weeping girl- and for the record, the way the fandom portrays "ukes" a lot of the time is worse than they'd portray any female character for fear of getting jumped on and called misogynistic- and rightly so.

Plus, god guys, even the "big tough semes" who are so in charge of everything else... Isn't it possible that they'd like finding someone they can trust/relax around enough to let them be in charge in bed? And am I the only one who finds that hot? Argh.
