But unless they would have cast someone I absolutely adore, I wasn't going to see a fifth movie period. Besides bringing an elderly man closer to death, what can IJ 5 do that The Mummy can't do next month? Or Transformers? It's got to take place in the modern day.

Love the show. Seen some gif/photo sets on Tumblr. That's where I do most of my fangirling. Haven't noticed any odd kinks, just an appreciation for a good show.

I have never in my life read, played, watched, or otherwise consumed a work of fiction because I was interested in the author's Very Important Opinions on human nature/the essential doom of humanity/the true moral value of heroism/whatever. I read/watch/play stuff because I want to see where the plot goes, or what happens to the characters, or whether my ship is going to kiss. If I wanted the author's opinions on human nature or whatever, I'd go find a philosophy book.

Write those down! Plots usually twist and turn so stuff planned is not a carbon copy of finished RP.

I get you though as done that with most characters of someone else's plus my plans were always overtly dramatic. Rarely any of those ended up canon but it was fun to write RP fanfics for myself.
