I just finished reading Koe no Katachi (which was really good), and someone recommended I read Molester Man after it because it wasn't even better. I'm like half way through series and I'm kind of at a loss as to why the series is so hyped up. It's nowhere near the same quality as Koe no Katachi and I really don't get why it's so popular.

So I've had my internet for about a year and it's worked just fine. Suddenly tonight, I lost connection. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and all, but it won't get me online. All the other buttons light up on the modem.

I've been in touch with customer service, but this is Comcast. They want to arrange a tech visit to my apartment, but are making me click "I agree" on an online payment form charging $60.

Is this normal? The customer service person is trying to tell me I might not have to pay that, depending on the nature of the problem, but it feels really shady to make me agree to pay $60 for their own equipment suddenly not working. If anything, shouldn't I be reimbursed for this not working? Is it unreasonable to expect a tech person to come fix your internet for a service you pay for?

Movie Club Nominations!

It is time for Movie Club nominations!

Theme: For the first half of November, we will be doing using the random game cards. Your movie must have TWO of the four cards. Here they are:
-Props: A pipe, a wrench, or a candlestick
-Characters: Gunslingers, Gang Members, or Gangsters
-Production: Title is one word long
-Theme & Genre: Road Trip

Rules (subject to change):
-One nomination per person.
-Must be available for rent on Amazon or iTunes, but if it streaming on Netflix or Hulu it helps!
-First 15 nominations will be chosen for voting.

Nominations will be open Monday-Wednesday. Voting will be on Thursday-Friday. The winner will be announced officially on Monday*. We will discuss the movie November 11th-12th.

*I will close the poll on Friday (or early Saturday) so you can check the results if you want to see the winner before Monday.
