Buster Keaton and James Stewart in one post?

Is fandom secrets trying to kill me from the awesome????

Also, about #148 - I have great love for movies. When I find someone I'll be greatly disappointed if they aren't a fan of the classics and/or Bollywood.

And I gotta mention that I have a framed poster of It's A Wonderful Life on my wall over my bed.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington on the left, It's a Wonderful Life on the right, and Nosferatu in the middle.

James Stewart ♥

I know seeing Jimmy and Buster in one post almost floored me.

My love for movies is pretty intense, people know that I love to watch and more importantly share them. I do understand though when people don't like them. It took me a while to get used to older movies until I actually gave them a chance.

112. If anything, Scrubs is one of the best shows from which to attain your morals.

113. You see Nelson Mandela as Redd or as Morgan Freeman?

118. House/Wilson = Motherfucking Fluff Central, Bitch!

129. ... I never realized that. Although there's usually a cool female character in the film (Eve, Dory, Jessie from Toy Story 2, BOO from Monsters Inc.).

135. ALREADY? OMG LINK ME NAO PLZ THANK YOU

141. Actually, the eyebrows and Richard Cox's voice did it for me. Plus, he beat Edward Cullen to gold eyes.

150. Image

155. So does Michael Buckley. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ2wi0rvvEo)

159. Ditto.

Wow, there have been so many negative reactions, especially from the, er, mainstream gay press, for lack of a better word, that I was really surprised to see a guy like him be relatively positive.

Also, I agree, if Pete were gay, those cock picks would have shown wood.

163. Suddenly I am craving chocolate. I don't think I knew that there was a Yowie cartoon, but I ate so many of the chocolates and had so many of the little toys inside. I think there was also Yowie ice cream at one point too.

162. I don't have a problem with belts and zippers. I'm a fan. BUT how many belts and zippers do you need? One of each seems to suffice for most people - why do you need seventeen?

108. I know what you mean. I always keep default names, like 'Link' and 'Tidus'. When I was little I didn't nickname my Pokémon, even. XD (I do now, but only for the lulz.)

109. ?!! That's one of the most creative, inventive shows I've ever seen. It's brilliant. So wtf? D:

112. It's not silly! :]

129. I guess they balance out Disney's princesses, eh? But now that you mention it, that'll bother me forever… >>

154. Two things:
1) I would, too, he's pretty.
2) HILARIOUS CALLBACK TO THE COD SECRET! I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. You win. You WIN. XDDDDD

114 The only reason I don't regret it is the friends I made in HP fandom and the fics I wrote and read.

135 WHERE IS THIS, links now please. I adore them and their prom dress-tux outfits for her birthday.

144 I grew up with a child molester in my house, so I know where you're coming from, and I'm glad you got yourself to a better place.

148 I really can't blame you at all.

Yes, but loving John Malkovich more than one's spouse is comparable to loving God more than one's spouse. He's a quasi-religious experience that defies all human boundaries of loyalty and gender.

Also, ways not to win an election but keep everyone's attention which is just as good: Past a photo of his face to a cantaloupe and stick it on the podium and proceed to ignore it for the entirety of your speech, then take it off when you go.

It didn't work, but they were talking about it for MONTHS.

120. I didn't read the text first at all because I was so distracted by the fact that the picture looked like Saffron from Firefly. Then I realized that I was mentally combining this (http://still-flying.net/images/ourmrsreynolds/index.php?image=ourmrsreynolds051.jpg) with this (http://still-flying.net/images/ourmrsreynolds/index.php?image=ourmrsreynolds029.jpg).

I'm like this with the Grudge Girl. I can't watch the movie ever again or the sequel and I was scared of it for a few years. It's kinda pathetic, but at least you're not alone?

oh my god, I LOVE Wall-E. I admit it, there were tears when I first watched it.

[identity profile] poisontea.livejournal.com 2008-07-08 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
101. I see no reason for this to be a secret. =3

102. The way I see it, part of the point for the game is that that trust or "unconditional love" IS for other people... but not ONLY for other people. Not just for other human beings, but for everyone. I don't see why Neku and everyone should have that unconditional love only for each other, and not Reapers (even when they were trying to kill them, it clearly showed some of the Reapers as more human- MOST of all 777, BJ, and Tenho) or whatever Joshua (AND Mr Hanekoma, don't forget!) are. I thought it was great that the game managed to incorperate all of that. And I don't really agree that having unconditional love and forgiveness for people or beings that are in a higher, more powerful position automatically turns it into something else instead and is a bad thing. And just... yeah. I never really thought about it the way you're describing it? Sorry it strikes you that way, though.

106. I will never, ever understand the amount of people who immediately jump on a character and rip them apart when they show flaws. That's... part of a story, right? It's characterization? Shows them being human, and that even humans can fuck up and be fucked up? Right? Sigh.

109. I don't see why you'd hate a show when you only see two episodes of it. Not like it, sure, but geez. It's a fun show, but especially if you didn't start it at the beginning, it's not gonna be the easiest thing to get into. I personally liked it because it had a hero who was sort of a dick without being a bad guy, and I loved the idea of a story starting off with "this is the main character, and he just died =D" Sure, maybe it's not your thing, but um... why getting all worked up?

Also, Itsuki is a guy, and if you look at a slightly better picture (http://i28.tinypic.com/2r6ptfb.jpg), he doesn't actually look very feminine. He just has long hair. =X

112. Holy shit, are "omg I get morals and ideals from fictional things!" the new "I'd hit it" secrets now? SERIOUSLY. GUYS. THIS IS NORMAL. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS. Holy crap.

133. ... I don't even know what this is REFERRING to and I love you a little for it. 8D ♥

137. Naww, don't do it. It'd be OOC, really, to have him thinking like that. He'd probably be traumatized. XD (Though it does explain his crush! I mean, besides her being adorable and sweet and etc. It's not uncommon for guys to crush on someone who reminds them of their mother, and vice versa, I think. Kyoko seems sharper than Nana though. >_>)

Also I lol at whoever said Ryohei is a lot like Tsuna's dad because OH GOD IT'S SO TRUE. XD

147. I kinda agree with this. Mostly it's just that... why do all these people seem to think the secrets posts and everyone involved are there solely for their own enjoyment and entertainment? If anything's being responded to, not everything is boring to everyone. :/

149. You... mock all people who like things and enjoy getting together, in one way or another, to discuss them and have fun? O RLY?

150. That's not being a weeaboo, that's being an immature otaku. SORRY THIS WORD JUST GETS USED SO MUCH sgklsjdhg. That said, just move past it. If they're story's good, ignore it. If it's not good, don't read it. Odds are it's something they'll grow out of anyway. I never did it that much myself, but I did sometimes, and I know I got past that stage.

Plus, even if they don't, um... They like doing it. They think it's cute. And they aren't hurting anyone. So it's not a big deal. At all. REMEMBER THIS PLZ.

154. HAHAHAHA ILU XD

157. OH FUCK YES. I fear how bad this might be, but if it's even decent, FUCK. YES. *A*

162. Hey hey hey there is NOTHING WRONG with those assless pants, OP. B| Or that ass-tight leather, uh
