129. I think thats a fair argument. In fact the females have yet to be truly interesting in any of their films. As my mother said 'you can tell that a man created this' not just because of the main character being male, but the stories themselves.

132. The movies aren't wrong. There have been old women that are used by join teams of thieves or gypsies that you can go to help with groceries or something and a guy will mug you at that moment. And many other similar stories sadly...

NO WAIT. Yes, I don't think there is a lot of fic about Xaldin because I cannot imagine anyone writing fic, truthful fic, about the man without needing several showers afterwards. Man is CREEPY.

I don't know how familiar you are with this canon, but what I mean by "doing it wrong" is that at least three-quarters of the fic in existence involves either straight-out rape, some form of physical abuse, or shota-con. little_calico's "In Haec Verba" has sold me on the last, though it's not at all my headcanon, but the first two are almost impossible to get to work properly. Also, the rape is either poorly-executed rape kink or angst bait, rather than something that could be explored for character depth. I'm looking for persuasion and emotional abuse, because that seems like a far more effective and IC method of seduction.

People who think the story makes the game. I don't deny that it's unarguably MASSIVE when it comes to determining the quality of the game, but for fuck's sake you're better off reading a visual novel if you want more story than playing. (is brutally reminded of Kingdom Hearts)

108. I can never name the characters anything other than their intended names the first playthrough. ;_; Afterwards that's when I fun renaming them all kinds of shit (usually stuff like "my penis" and "my dildo," makes for fun quotes).

109. Personally, I think two episodes is not enough to really get the feel of any series. Yu Yu Hakusho has a special place in my heart (mostly for nostalgia) and I honestly like the characters. However, if you don't like it, then you don't like it.

124. Oh Rolo. You see, I don't think he's that much of a Gary Stu. Yes, he has this sort of HAX geass going on, but Lelouch hates the guy. He's willing to use him rather than actually become his brother. I think if he were a Gary Stu, everyone would come to love him and cuddle him and Nunnally would be a thing of the past. Plus the guy's such a yandere. Mmm, delicious yandere.

129. I adore 'A Bugs Life', and if you think about it, it had a fair few female characters with 'cool' stories. I mean, Dot was growing both literally and as a character throughout the entire movie. But yeah, I guess I see your overall point.
