Even though I don't ship it, I can see Gibbs/Kate, but for the life of me I can't see Gibbs/Tony. It just doesn't make any sense to me why a good majority of the fandom ships this pairing. It baffles me something awful. :/

162. There's nothing wrong with Belts and Zippers in and of themselves. It's when Nomura goes nuts and piles them on that they start to look ridiculous. Even that wouldn't be so bad if he didn't do it for every character ever. The end result is that his characters sort of start to look generic after a while.

Also you don't need to be able to suggest an alternative to know when shitsux. Just saying.

169. That's good! I'm glad you're able to do that, and that Naruto helps you with it. I'm not a fan of him, myself, but I will admit that he has his moments.

Thing is, though, just about every shonen protagonist ever does the exact same stuff, only better than him.

FOR EVERY CHARACTER EVER, you say?

Besides Squall and Lulu being the obvious examples... I can't really think of anyone else who's THAT bad with the belts and zippers. Cloud wasn't that bad, Tidus didn't really have any belts or zippers to speak of, nor does Lightning.

It's exaggeration like this that I think is stupid. Despite what you make think, he does not make EVERY CHARACTER EVER look the same. And he does not give EVERY CHARACTER EVER the same fucking clothes.

And it's not as if he's been directing FF games (XIII Versus is the only one) anyway. He's directed KH, he's directing Dissidia, and he directed some of TWEWY. Considering how much fans seem to love TWEWY, I can't really see how Nomura is "bad."

This secret is pretty much aimed at people like you that just blindly go on about how much Nomura sucks without any real proof.

DO see Wall-E. While she may not be the title character, EVE has lasers and blows shit up. Wall-E has memorized the entire soundtrack to Hello, Dolly! Gender-role reversal is a step in the right direction, at the very least.

101 - YES. Oh Wall*E, I loved that movie so very very much.

129 - Even if they aren't main characters, I find the majority of Pixar's women characters to be kickass awesome anyway. You don't gotta be the main male to be awesome.

That said, a female protagonist would kick ass.

162 - I dislike Nomura because all his stuff looks the same to me after VIII and I don't think he's a good director. And I prefer Amano (not that liking Amano means you can't like Nomura) and really like those assless pants you so hate. Also, noseless is yay.

If there were gender equality in play, at least some of those leads would be male and some of those awesome secondary characters would be males who were second to those females. I do contend, though, that Toy Story is not a situation of Woody and Buzz being leads and Jessie being secondary, but of two parallel stories, one of Woody and Buzz, and one of Jessie. Because frankly, it's a sequel in a Disney flick, you can't get rid of the old mains. Ever wonder why Jafar's in so many freaking Aladdin flicks?

I'm actually a little put off by the posters (http://www.worstpreviews.com/media.php?id=97&image=1&place=posters&place2=poster) now, showing the main character and his girlfriend (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1472041728/tt0423294) and his goofy pal. I mean, I know pretty much every movie has a middle-class White guy as the main character, especially comedy-action flicks about some loser kid made good, but you'd think animated films would be able to get around that rule somehow instead of just reproducing it. I don't mean I automatically think "Bad Movie!" - I just think "Again?". (What the hell makes me say Mumble is White? 'Cos Seymour (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDkENS4saAY) is Black. Apparently. 124. Well, then, something about him must work. I think the terms “Mary-Sue” and “Gary-Stu” are overused outside of fanfiction. They’re present, certainly, and fanbabies will flock to them, but there’s a difference between a character seeming too angsty, too perfect, etc., and a plot device.
