I'm an Edgeworth fangirl because I sympathize with him, relate to him, and look up to him. Not because he's the bishie of the day or whatever. (Hell, I miss the older official art where he really wasn't that pretty...)

And I just write Phoenix/Edgeworth because I like them both, want them to be happy, and see a lot of chemistry in their dynamic that makes me think pairing them would be something that would make them happy. I like reading it for Phoenix's character as much as Edgeworth's.

Go ahead and feel superior, I guess. But sweeping generalization is sweeping.

I don't think you truly got Gurren-Lagann's message. It's a show about growing old and being forgotten, it's about how everything has to end. The path of progress is filled with melancholy, just like you once "replaced" someone you'll eventually be replaced and forgotten in return. The show was a reminder of our mortality. You only half-understood the point of the show.

I pretty much agree on both. In the DW series I've really only cried twice: one being DOnna, the other being when Adric died in "Earthshock". I actually sort of just lulzed at the series two finale, really.

I could only read something about Asian vs. non-Asian cosplayers, and "anybody can cosplay," but anyway...

It depends on the aim of the cosplayer. Many do it just for fun but if you are seriously trying to look like the character, then you should pay as much attention to the skin color of the character as their outfit. If you want to cosplay a character whose skin color is very different than your own and you want to look like the character as much as possible, then you should do apply make up, paint or whatever to your skin to achieve that. If anyone were to cosplay Ursula and want to look like her, skin included, they'd make their skin look indigo. It's not about race, it's about how similar to the character you want to look.

137. Ever think your gross generalization of Supernatural viewership might also offend? Maybe people have different standards. Maybe what makes a good actor varies from one person to the other. I mean, what makes a big load of shit certainly does, so why not? For that matter, what makes a man handsome also varies from one person to the other, but whatever, obvious statement is obvious. I find it somewhat close-minded that, having yourself been perceived to like certain movies for shallow reasons, you can't accept the notion that others may find something that they genuinely enjoy in a show that you don't. It's sad mostly for your friends, that you think so lowly of their ability to have an opinion about a TV show independent of what the main guys look like.
