158. ksfldja Hercules day on F!S. AND! I love both Greek mythology and the show! Granted, there are some parts of the show that kind of stomp on the myths, but there are also lots of wonderful little things that are so great when you notice them, like Hermes delivering flowers from Hephaestus to Athena and commenting that he keeps telling him it's hopeless, but...
So anyway, I think a lot of people who are interested in Greek mythology are put off by the differences, but I kind of think of it as, well, the Greeks themselves were pretty quick to monkey around with the stories when it suited them, so if you can accept the 9000 different versions of, I don't know, Helen of Troy, you shouldn't have too much trouble with a Disney-fied one.

165. Yeah, much as I love Disney, that is definitely one of their biggest issues. Like, if you're going to do that, at least don't be so insane about your own copyrights. To a certain point you can explain the similarities away since the basic stories show up in most cultures, one way or another, but... yeah, some things are just a bit too much.

If I'm correct, it's about the ALTOR issue that happened in the Hitman Reborn comm (since mist and number 6 correlates with one character, Mukuro Rokudou, who is the Mist Guardian and his number in the fandom is 69). There was a secret about that and a small chat about that on Monday.

I remember feeling sick over that part, but not horrified. In fact, no part of that book actually SCARED me. I just thought, over all, the book was...really weird and cool.
