Suzaku hate didn't start with R2, unfortunately. :( I don't get it either, but well, he's Lelouch's ennemy and LELOUCH IS GOD so liking Suzaku is like a heresy or something. Just ignore the haters? 170. I agree with you for the most part. There's too much Suzaku hate. I think Suzaku hasn't totally changed himself, but he has changed his approach to winning back Japan. It's not a bad thing. And honestly, how can anyone really blame him after what Lelouch did to Euphie? Even if it was an accident. Suzaku doesn't know that so he has every right to be pissed. I mentioned this time and time again, but who on this planet is NOT a hypocrite? No one. Why is it that Suzaku is the only character getting judged here and not Lelouch? Lelouch has done things far worse than anything Suzaku has done and yet every one is getting on Suzaku's case? wtf?

170) Actually, unless I'm mistaken, there was more hate for him in R1. And there are definitely some corners of fandom that love him, while most of it hates him. I'm a total Suzakufag myself, though I gotta take his bad with his good. I would actually say that he was very distinctly "human" in R1 (and possibly more so than in R2), but anyways. The kid does get an unfair share of the hate-orade. If you want someone to spazz over him with, friend me or hit me up on AIM or something. =)
