127 - HAHAHA CAPTAIN PLANET. They were soooo my OTP too. One of my most memorable cartoon fandoms. The thought makes me cringe, but it's a fond, nostalgic cringe.

163 - I liked the movie, but I understand how you feel. I had to look at it separately from the book, otherwise I knew I would be disappointed. Sophie's character (and how annoyingly weak-willed she was) upset me far more than Howl's, although I didn't like how he turned into a bird-thing. I also didn't like the war element, but what saddened me the most was that they didn't show Howl flirting with anyone, and they took out the weed-killer part (my favorite in the book). D:

On the other hand, I totally started liking Christian Bale just because he did Howl's voice. XD

After going through the files on KOTOR1, I'm convinced that Revan was originally meant to be female, but the LA overrode them.

1) The largest dialogue tree in the game is Carth's, at about 800K. About 2/3 of it is locked to Male!Revan. Bastila's weighs in at 600k, and there's only ONE conversation a Female!Revan can't access.

2) A female Revan gets a second romance. Stanley Woo confirmed that Juhani's romance option was only supposed to be open to Female!Revan, but the first release had a bug that allowed male players access to it.

3) Female!Revan gets a third ending. If Female!Revan finishes the romance arc with Carth, but goes DS at the end, he comes to the Star Forge to plead with her. There's a dialogue option that allows Female!Revan to turn on her apprentice and die on the Star Forge with Carth. In the released version, the option isn't available, but it can be restored with 2 minutes and KOTOR tool.

Screw Lucasarts. In my household, Revan is and always has been a chick.

I don't remember anyone postulating that this movie introduces new themes or did anything different or new, it just adapted the franchise AMAZINGLY WELL. I can't help but agree with you there. I mean, I've loved the Joker forEVER...but I miss Quinn. A lot. I RP'd as the Joker for about three years before fandom dragged my Quinn away.

You cannot say shit about voice acting in games until you've played Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Infamously horrid voice acting.

P3 was gold compared to it.
