144. I'm honestly curious what makes you say this. Is it because of the promotional stuff? It's just, my experience has been that female PCs tend to get a slightly better story line than the boys, and I've not encountered anything in the games you've listed that made me think "This game was obviously written for a male protagonist."

I'm not trying to be confrontational; I really want to know.

I wasn't trying to be confrontal either, so don't worry.

To answer your question: I've played Bioware games since 2000; each time with a male and female protagonist.
And everytime I played a female I got the feeling that it was forced on their part, not to mention that the male always gets like, three romances whiel the girl gets one.

And you know what? It never bothered me! I mean at least I had the option to play as a woman! But in Mass Effect it feels like they're trying very hard not to let people know that there is female pc - like they're ashamed of it.

I didn't hate the movie but I found it rather.. dull. I wasn't even expecting an exact adaptation of the book, I never do, but the plot, atmosphere and characters were so different that I wasn't even interested in them. XD; I love the book too much maybe. I did like movie!Calcifer, though. XD Once again, nothing to do with the original but it was rather cute.
The funny thing is I have friends who have watched the movie first and then read the book and didn't enjoy the latter. D:

Yes I have. Erm... JackxTeal'c? Actually I'm a mild fan of Teal'cxSam and vaguely occasionally Teal'cxJack, but I always remember the episode about his family and remember that they're still somewhere aaaand he's so inerrantly loyal. [Then again, when I consider JackxDaniel there's always a not-quite-all-there-ness because of Shau're and Sara, so...]

...so basically I've considered all of original SG-1 couples, but Sam and Daniel always struck me as more friendly.
