I love Aaron Eckhart so much more than I did Heath Ledger in that movie. Not that Heath wasn't brilliant; he was phenominal and it was an astounding performance.

But Aaron Eckhart's role was more challenging, more provoking, and a better display of acting. Playing a lunatic murderer the whole way like Heath did is no where near as hard as playing a lawful white night turned psychotic killer, and have it be not only believable in under three hours, but also sympathetic.

The way that Aaron keeps getting ignored only strengthens my fierce love of him.

I have to disagree. I think it's much harder to play a psychotic killer who's unpredictable, actually very likable and able to shit in your pants is harder than playing a do-gooder whose world was crushed due to the death of his lover. Harvey never was a full villain as much turned into a grieving man seeking vengeance. In fact, some people complain that Two-Face barely did anything to be truly villainous.

Not to knock Eckhart's performance, because it was phenomenal and he made Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face look like utter complete shit.

EXCEL SAGA IS AWESOME. I always crack up at the very last episode & the one with Key. Unfortunate the series is so short & it's not as popular as others =/

I think that's a great wish, and something far too rarely articulated. Life has so many chapter, characters, etc., and I think you're so right to set of goal of having wonderful friends (for all of your life, surely, but definitely in the twilight).

To Kill a Mockingbird was required reading at my middle school before I could find it on my own, but I read Pride and Prejudice for fun. I think I can reasonably say that a large majority of my f-list has too. Either that, or they're analyzing the feminist ideas behind it. =| Fandom's pretty damn 'literate,' as far as I've noticed, and a lot of people from ff.net find their way to LJ where it's considered normal to be semi-intelligent human beings. OR MAYBE I GOT LUCKY, I dunno.

Which is very odd as Batman/Joker is right up my alley, but there's just something about Bruce/Gordon that I find somehow more appealing.
