Kefka was MY first FF-villain, Sephiroth's was a lot of OTHER people's first villain... it feels like we're just going on emotions here, and I am uncomfortable with comparing and weighing tw ocharacters against each other when my perspective os so clearly clouded by memories and emotions.

134 - I love Gintama, though it's not something I could grow addicted to. The characters are lovely and I agree about the part that it can be really hilarious and sad at the same time - I cried many times for various reasons while watching it. But the truth is, it has MANY hints, and I can't catch even half of them, not even with the comments of the subbers. I think it's only truely enjoyable for those who can get all or many of the funny hints and know what the parodies are about, and I think there are not many people like this in the English-speaking fandom. You can still enjoy it for the lulz, I do too, but without getting all of the references like Japanese people do, I don't think it's the same, just like half of the show. I think that's why it has a small fandom and I think it's fair.
