Well, it's more that symbolism for the sake of it bothers me most of the time. Especially when it's pasted on by people other than the author. I just want to enjoy my fiction on its own level and not as representative of everyone being Jesus in Purgatory.

Satire in the vein of Animal Farm is exempt from this, mainly because it's the author's whole point and not pastde on yey. Also Tabuu, obviously. (He's from Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

Slappy has no dual personality. I've never seen her go deredere, and her mean moments are all calm and nonchalant. She has no temper and doesn't treat those she cares about with anger and impatience, as a tsundere would.

Shorter version: WTF are you saying? Slappy Squirrel is not a tsundere. Quit tossing the word around on every female character who's not nice. e_e

There is an episode of some anime or another in which a character claims that it's possible to have a tsundere with only the tsuntsun side, since the deredere can be 'filled in by imagination.' This was, however, supposed to be comedy, and the character was supposed to be a little...off to the rest of the world.

159 I like Gary Oldman a lot too, but I already know how great Gary Oldman is, and Eckhart is new to me. Also, frankly, I just find Eckhart more attractive than Oldman so that's why I think he's such a big deal. Oldman is obviously a better actor, but he's been in the game for a pretty long time, too.
