154. I like this secret. The idea of LaCroix giving Edward the royal smack down for being such an emo pup is extremely pleasing to me. Plus, you can so easily slip him in the Moonlight storyline. Many French Royals were vampires on that show. LaCroix would so be a Marquis. He probably came up with the "Human cure" himself.

Come to think of it, that would make for a pretty decent bit of fanfiction.

160. OOTP was my least favorite Harry Potter movie too. It was also my favorite Harry Potter book. What the director did to Neville's storyline was lousy. The chapter where the trio discover Neville's secret of his parents being in the mental ward was one of the most tragic scenes in the entire scenes. And it gave great insight to Neville's character. To have it reduced to him telling Potter about his parents in a simple chat made me livid. Especially since the previous movie set up Neville's hospital storyline so beautifully.

I don't know if I really want to see the other movies. I mean, some part of me wants to see them because they are Harry Potter but some part of me doesn't because of that director.

175. But they're Chucks! I can see him looking silly with a pair overdone garish Nikes but Chucks are classics. I love that he wears them. It completely reveals his character; intelligent, that is the suit but slightly eccentric and impish, that's where the Chucks come in.

And I love that his white ones are dirty rather than fresh out of the box. It makes me wonder where has this guy been too?

The Maya bashing drives me insane. I've never seen anything wrong with the character, and I've never been ashamed to admit that I like her. No one I know who watches Heroes in real life has a problem with her either. The Maya hate seems to be largely an online thing?

If Kring kills her off just because of a few screechy, hysterical online fans...how pathetic would that be?

Sadly no, I don't know who fits where - I don't know as much about random deities and spirits as I'd like to. It's something for people more into comparative mythology to work out. I do have a few vague thoughts, though...

Sonic is obviously the North Wind, but he's always been that.

The Hyruleans - Link, Zelda/Sheik, and Ganondorf - may or may not be Shinto figures, but I only say that because I've heard their in-universe mythology apparently has a lot of Shinto influences.

Samus is clearly some kind of mother goddess who will fuck your shit up if you screw with her creation. See Pikachu from Brawl and the baby Metroid from her continuity. Peach is a considerably gentler mother goddess.

R.O.B., of course, is the tension between science and religion.

126. I hated her S2 storyline, thought it was terrible and made her look one-dimensional, but I think she's got potential to be interesting. A lot of times writers kill off characters that they just can't make work - I don't think it would be fandom's fault if she goes.

Yeah, I'm not saying that fandom would automatically be to blame if she gets killed off, but I still wouldn't be surprised if it has at least some influence on their decisions. They obviously must know that she hasn't been received well by the online masses and that there wouldn't be a huge outcry if they offed her.

Heh, I can completely understand why other people liked Juno. I just... didn't.
Sonic Youth has such a massive discography that it can be daunting to start getting into their music. Generally, I would recommend starting with Daydream Nation, which is viewed by most as their magnum opus. If you're not so much into experimental rock, or seven-minute-long songs, then Sister or Rather Ripped (their newest album) are both loaded with slightly poppier/more accessible songs.
