Not sure if #163 is right or if they're just spreading rumors but even if it's true, I don't see any problem with it. As long as it's consensual and both people know what they're getting going into it (if it's a one-nighter or more) then who cares? I don't think it's hurting anyone and I haven't seen any mention of this until now so it's not like everyone even knew about it (if it's even true).

101's fandom is Axis Powers Hetalia, a gag webcomic (and soon to be anime!) about world history (mostly WWII), depicting the actual countries as anthropomorphisms. Character profiles and a handful of scanlations can be found at hetalia. If this is true, how has it not come out until now? I find that hard to believe when it comes to this fandom.

There are plenty of fans who go to these Supernatural cons that are just as big of Steve fans as they are of Jensen so I see no reason to assume that he only gets laid through fans wanting to get close to Jensen. For that matter, said fans may not have known much about Steve before the con but were won over by his own personality and/or work when seeing him there and become his genuine fans too.

Though if they are sleeping with him just to get close to Jensen then I find that FAR more creepy of the fan than of him. I doubt said fan would say to his face that they're sleeping with him just to get close to Jensen and would be more likely to tell him that they love his work. So how would he know for sure that they aren't sleeping with him because they like him since there are genuine fans at these cons that like him as much as Jensen?

154 - Oh, LaCroix. I couldn't think of a single series that wouldn't be vastly improved with the addition of a little bit of LC, whether it has vampires in it or not. Moonlight kind of already crosses over with FK based on the fact that it is a big ol' copy of FK. And the fact that half the time the closed captioning of Moonlight calls Mick Nick. Although, I would love to see LaCroix's face when he finds out Mick's been hanging out in the same city for the last 70 years. Even Nicolas isn't that spechul.

157 - The movie was on television today. It was only the second time I've seen it, but I have to agree with you. Silly Gerard Butler and his flat notes and his bad case of emo!sunburn. I've never had the pleasure of seeing it onstage, but it was the first musical I ever heard, and I still keep a copy of the soundtrack on whatever mp3 player I have at the time. I never get tired of listening to it.

164 - It's just a date. Don't beat yourself up too much. Unless you gave her the birthdate of 9-11-2001, you shouldn't feel bad about it. I'm American, too, and I personally think we should get over it. It's completely pretentious of us to say that no one can ever use those numbers ever again without feeling guilty. Just call it the WTC attack or something.

I have hard time believing that the same people who have no trouble stretching Sylar's storyline beyond S1 would be incapable of letting Maya keep her dignity and her life (or better yet, give her *GASP* a better storyline!), so if she's killed off, it will be because of a bias. I have no respect for creators who are either incapable of keeping their spine together under fandom pressure or choose fan service over actual effort in the story.

Also, those who think only possible future for Maya is death? Please educate yourselves about Women in Refrigerators-syndrome (http://www.unheardtaunts.com/wir/). Or Nathan. He had a perfectly meaningful, wonderful death scene in 1x23, but was brought back and spent S2 sit in a corner and be grumpy and blame his mom for his mistakes. I boggle every time I see someone name Nathan's storyline as one of the better in S2.

Fan service surely played a large role in keeping him alive. I don't think it's the only factor, but it does worry me that one characters gets such support while others don't. People asked for Maya's death in the same ways they asked for Nathan to be brought back. I even saw a post that simultanously asked for Nathan's survival, Maya's death, and for the creators to finally have the guts to kill off a popular white, male character, instead of only coloured and female ones. No kidding. Heroes fandom is hilarious.
