I'm trying to figure out what you think you did wrong. A LOT of us have September 11th birthdays, and I had that birthday for a long time before any assholes decided to kill a bunch of people on that day one year.

There's nothing anti-American about your (or a fictional character's) birthday being September 11th.

Well, the thing is, I made a stupid crack about the date in the fic (along the lines of "Damn, my birthday's been coopted"). It had no significance otherwise. So, maybe not anti-American, but I still think I was tasteless as hell.

107. Honestly, this is going to come out all wrong, but...I really wish they'd stop comparing his performance to comics!Joker. The only thing that can ever come close to comics!Joker is Hamill!Joker. 157. I only saw it once, when I was a kid. But I know the feeling. Reading the book, listening to the musical, and yes, even watching the movie (it had its highlights. Gerald Butler's singing just wasn't one of them), I've thought the exact same thing.


165. That kind of gives me another reason for NOT wanting Shawn/Juliet to happen. I hated it when it happened with Chase/Cameron because it seemed so friggen fake.
But mostly, I just want Juliet to be with Lassie. I feel he deserves to have someone who loves him more than Shawn deserves to be the golden boy who gets every single thing he ever sets his eye on.


175. Aw. I love the trainers. Bright red trainers, blue suit (though I like the brown better). I love it. I almost teared up at the end of Series 3, when you saw his red converse propped up on the console, because that's when you knew all was right with the universe.
Besides. The Doctor's supposed to have horrible fashion sense.

I just feel like it's not kosher to prefer someone who was not your first Doctor. Tenth was my first, and I like him lots, but I obviously the Second Doctor is awesome.

121 - I don't hate it yet, but... yeah. I know where you're coming from. I skipped through eps 17-18 and I still haven't watched ep 19. (And it started out so well... ironically, one of my problems is that it doesn't deviate enough from the manga.)

YES, FFIV LOVE. I'll be honest and say I'm enjoying the DS version more than all my previous playthroughs of the game, though the retranslation may be the reason for it. It's simply so well done and wonderful. I actually cried at some scenes I haven't even gotten teary at before.
