I'm glad that The Borgias didn't get to film their series finale simply because they promised me no incest and then broke it. That was the only reason why I started the show.

(Didn't mind their closeness or the hints, but at the end of the day it was most likely slander by their enemies (not saying that they didn't deserve enemies lol) and they only ever show the ~sexay brother/sister incest and not the father/daughter one that was supposed to have happened and resulted in her first son, too...).

Usually I just stop watching shows when I don't like them anymore and hope the rest of fandom still has fun but that one, I will always be gleeful about.

Note: It's not the incest that bugs me terribly, but I always compare it to Anne Boleyn's portrayal as an evil witch in a lot of media. It's a lot better now on that front nowadays, but for Lucrezia Borgia it's still OMG INCEST!!11!!11

I have been told sooooo many times that "it's just a movie, quit taking it seriously" about this that it's got to be petty.

PASSAGE OF TIME. If a road trip takes two weeks, SHOW ME THAT FUCKER TAKES TWO WEEKS. Don't just be like one constant unbroken party of road trip with, like, one night and expect me to be like, "oh, yes, that was two weeks". If it takes so long to get from Star System A to Star System B, and that time is days, don't be wearing the same dang clothes if there are other options! TIME PASSED. SHOW ME IN SOME WAY TIME PASSED.

Please never ever tag your fic with both the book/comic tag and the adaptation tag, ffs, it hardly ever makes sense to treat them as interchangeable and I wish the AO3 system could somehow not allow people to do it.

Neville Chamberlain was exactly as bad as the popular consensus would have you believe and in fact, he probably gets off comparatively lightly to what he deserves. He was absolutely terrible. People trying to do revisionist histories of appeasement or whatever are totally wrong.

Justice did NOT corrupt Anders, Anders corrupted Justice... And there is a whole landside of drama about this shitstain of a character I'll completely ignore for obvious reasons... Just that even the phrasing that Justice might be at all at fault makes me petty as hell. Ugh...
