A friend of mine preferred to play female avatars when given the chance. Like, if we were rolling characters for...I don't know, Guild Wars...there was a pretty decent chance he'd play as a woman. Was open about it. "I'm a guy, playing as a girl." And someone asked him why, one day, to which he stated that if he was going to stare at an ass for hours upon hours, it might as well be an ass which he could admire.

119) No secrets yet, but there sure have been posts and comments along these lines. I've noticed it's mostly yaoi fans who like how ambiguous the original anime was for their pairings. The manga makes it pretty clear who is going to be with who. Which is silly because canon doesn't matter, really, when it comes to pairings.
