Hey, guys! Today, in "unexpected results" I got home from a week away. Before I left, I turned off my heat. I mean, it's May, when I left it was t-shirt weather, time to just switch off, no? Energy saving and all that.
IT IS BLOODY FREEZING. :( And now I'm sitting here, in my feety pajamas, waiting for this spring people promissed me.

How's everyone else for weather?

It just got cold here this week! Makes sense since it's late autumn now. It should have been cold sooner.

I just turned on my heat! It is freezing and everything is flooded. This is the second worse flood we have had in this town.

It's cold and cloudy, but not too bad. Yesterday sucked because there was a fire at a nearby farm and it smelled awful for the whole day.

Same thing happened to me! I left town on Saturday when it was fairly warm. I was trying to re-program the thermostat but it was giving me sass, so just turned the heat off. Came back Wednesday afternoon and it was cold! Then it poured rain last night. Not too bad today, temperature-wise, but it's still dreary.

Yup, we got cold, too. Down in the low forties and all wet and windy and drizzling. Blech. And it's going to be forties at night all week, but at least sun in the day.

And i keep having hot flashes, which is *really* fucking annoying.

It's (relatively) cold here and might rain, which is not what one expects in Los Angeles in May. Not that I am complaining, in August when it's over 100 degrees F I'm sure I will be wishing for this weather again.

I have no time to write anymore and it's killing me. I keep trying to be adult and find time in my hectic adult life but so far, I've got nothing.

The one day I did managed to write, the next day I was back at work for 14 hours and somehow it was even more painful than usual because I had all these ideas and couldn't do anything about it.

Anyway sorry, needed to rant.

I'm trying to write a story where two characters leave their spouses for each other and I'm really having a hard time figuring out how to do it while making them both likable and not total jerks. I always thought that when you realized you were interested in someone else, you broke up with your partner, then you could start a relationship with the other person, and that was the right way to handle it, but lately there are several people around me saying "if you even think about someone else in a romantic way while you're in a relationship/married, it automatically counts as cheating" and it's just like...if that's the case, you can't do anything right.

I'm trying to hammer out a (quite long) Dragon Age fic and the TIMELINE is going to KILL ME. How fucking small is Ferelden that the Warden and their party could criss-cross it that many times in under a year? How fast are their horses meant to be?? Am I putting more thought into this than the creators did???

and I don't plan on doing it regularly (mayyyybbbeee once a month) but is anyone interested in doing a "movie club" again?

For those of you unfamiliar, a topic is chosen (I have a couple backlogged OR I use my cards from my Double Feature game). People nominate movies from streaming sites. We all vote on them. Then we have 1-2 weeks to watch. I then post some starting questions.

Will probably post this question again tomorrow.
