I don't think there's anything wrong with that - I mean, it's not what I would want, but like you say, everyone deserves the right to choose how they want to live their own life.

What's wrong is when it's something that's imposed instead of being a choice.

This is one aspect of the show I'm lukewarm about. Didn't care about the angst of puppy love. Definitely don't care about the pre-teen melodrama and yeah, Mike IS kind of a dick.
