AMEN. I just got this satisfaction as the ship that I had low-key shipped throughout the entire canon not only became official canon but ended with a wedding. I couldn't possibly have asked for more.

If you don't mind anime, there are many that fit your criteria. They are usually juvenile and male power fantasies, though. But some aimed at girls are pretty cool like Yona of the Dawn or The Ancient Magus' Bride. There are cool fantasy video games too.
