112. Supernatural fandom is pretty cruel to the female characters/cast... but didn't that chick just show up in one episode for like five minutes? :/

122. No, I wouldn't die for any of my siblings. :/ I don't see how that has anything to do with enjoying incest fic, though. I don't see how sex 'cheapens' relationships, and if one more person bitches about it I'm gonna... I dunno, get really annoyed.

When it comes to me and the people whose siblings I'm acquainted with, though, siblings that are reaaaaly close seem to be rare. I mean, you're comfortable and friendly with them, keeping in touch, possibly even donating a kidney, yeah, but spending all your time together/sharing a lot of personal stuff with them/dying for them/whatever... notsomuch. When people run into siblings in fiction who are really tight, you have to wonder what's behind that kind of bond.

Especially with twins and the romanticizing that happens a lot in fiction with them - you know, sharing everything, doing everything together, dressing the same and sharing each others' clothing and finishing each others' sentences, almost like they're one person - and 'becoming one' almost sounds like sex or marriage, doesn't it? If you share everything else, why not include your body?

People tend to stick characters together when they're so close as to make other relationships difficult because they would come after that relationship - Fred and George Weasley, Sam and Dean Winchester, [[ALBEDO AND RUBEDO OMG *Xenosaga pimp flail* seriously if you don't see the incest/clonecest vibe there you are blind]] whatever. It doesn't matter if they're related.

162. Well, I can say that I sympathize. I was a closet anime fan until a year ago because I was afraid that others would look down on me, but it didn't turn out that way. Nothing really changed, or at least appeared to change. In fact, I even found some fellow anime fans in some of my classmates who I never expected to like anime as well-and they're nothing like in your description, so maybe there is a chance that there are some more people you know who are into it but have kept it undercover because they're embarassed of the weeaboos like you are. Now perhaps you might not be with people as accepting or fans as sane, but it's not like you have to be vocal about it. And seriously, if other people are willing to look down on you just because you like something they don't like, or just because they assume that you will act like the crazies of your fandom...that's their problem, not yours.

I'm so glad someone else has the same opinion. I'm sure there are other people, and whilst I do enjoy reading the first four books I think the final three were tripe. However it feels like I'm the only one to think so, and I had someone in the shop I work get really angry and tell me I was a disgrace to my country for not liking the books. :| Luckily, my co-worker and I found it hilarious.

They're not BAD books, and kudos to Rowling for all she's done, but they are in no way the BEST BOOKS EVAR.

Newsflash: in spite of what you hear from the Right-Thinking Side of Fandom, not every Rose fan is some close-minded 13-year old shipper who would immediately see The Error of Her Ways if she could only see any of the previous companions. Not all Rose fans are new to Doctor Who, or even necessarily shippers. A lot of us have seen -- and love -- the classic companions, and still think Rose really is just that great. Hell, I can name a couple dozen Rose fans offhand who came in from classic series fandom, and only one of those is a batshit stupid Ten/Rose shipper.

You're entitled to think she's the worst piece of crap ever if you're so inclined, but get off your high-horse and recognize that the rest of us have the right to think she's pretty freaking fantastic. Deal?

143- i don't think enough people read this manga. and the ones who do, don't have a good enough appreciation for it. i am jealous of their strong teamwork and friendships, and would be in denial about it if it ended

167- nekozawa is probably my favorite character in the series. probably because i am a little bit like him. interested in dark things, but truly fun and happy, a bit crazy on purpose to make friends happy
