127 I feel that way myself sometimes. I get good and mad and sometimes even make whiny posts about it, though I keep that to a once a year max. But the thing I've realized is, you just have different dynamics and interests in shipping than the Mylar shippers, and that's why you don't ship it. If all those people were writing your ship, they'd probably be writing fics you wouldn't like, because they'd be interested in some other aspect of it, and then that wouldn't be satisfying at all. It's unfortunate. Sometimes you can find something you want in another fandom, but I'm becoming more dubious about that as more people become multifandom. I really do think there's a certain dynamic that a lot of people like, a kind of fucked-up over invested melodramatic thing that makes them happy. If you're, say, some Matt-Mohinder I-love-their-little-family person, well, cling to your ship. I can't think of a fandom off the top of my head where that dynamic is the most popular and beloved of the fangirls.

109.) Cillian Murphy *is* insanely good looking and talented, but, yeah, I'm reading the comics and just as obsessed. The character is absolutely fascinating. Psychology fascinates me, as does fear, and I love that whole aspect of his character.

I also respect that you don't like anime. ^_^ That's cool. I don't like a lot of things, too. (Like Twilight, jeez people, I'm into vampires, but lemme recommend you a GOOD series!)

I beg to differ. I like all the characters and character types you mentioned above, but I also like some of the "stick thin" anime boys. And not all anime men are like that. Zoro from One Piece and Guts from Berserk would put a lot of Western superheroes to shame--and that's without having magic powers to back them up.

165. Really? I think the plot in Naruto is the weakest thing in the entire series. Kishimoto creates great characters but his plot execution is terrible. I read the series and all i see are flaws. If you honestly want to praise a mangaka for having a great plot then i suggest you read One Piece.
