129. I'm a Nine/Rose fangirl who does watch the Classic Show. IMHO, Rose was a brilliant companion who could easily match up to the classic companions in Season One. From then onwards she just became a whiny bitchy Mary-Sue who was all OMG I THOUGHT I WAS SPECIAL?? (reference intended), and I lost interest in her until Season Four. And even then, she wasn't a scratch on Season One.

109: Funny, I feel exactly the same about HP fandom, substituting "Snape"and "Alan Rickman" for the character and actor... Snapefandom would shrink by 95% if the movies hadn't happened, or if they found some skinny sallow ugly actor to do the role. Sigh.

112. I gave her a fair chance three weeks in a row and my personal opinion is that they should have just killed Ruby off because Katie Cassidy set the bar too high. She made the character unique from the snarky attitude to her facial expressions. She's been in hell for centuries and crawled out, which made her a bitch. Gen does not portray the character like that. She plays Ruby as a lost, confused, wannabe badass. So, don't tell me to give her a chance, because I already did. I gave her three of them and she's out.
