153. You're missing the point. So many "strong female characters" come off as butch, or as specifically shunning all that stereotypically is associated with women. Buffy provided a balance between the atypical and the girly-girl characterization, while possessing realistic strengths and weaknesses as an individual. It's not bad to be a girl. One doesn't have to emulate stereotypically male behavior to be "better" than other women, or than men.

I totally agree. Yeah, she kicked major butt. That was amazing! At the same time, she was still feminine, still a woman(girl).

I agree with the poster because while she was great at being a slayer, she kinda sucked at the woman part. Her romantic relationships did not work. She ended up with abusive men and couldn't function normally in a relationship.

That's how I see it, at least. Really don't want to create any drama! : )
