SNAKE (on the left) is a passive-agressive bitchy clone with stubble who is written like an action hero but to its logical, ridiculous conclusion, so he looks traumatised and absolutely certifiable. He has strangely adorable clinginess issues and has pretty vicious mood-swings from 'FRIENDLY ♥' to 'I'M A KILLER' and is the total bitch of his best friend, OTACON (right). Oh yeah, he also has olds-disease which means he looks 35-40 at 32, 45-50 at 36, and 70-80 at the age of about 41. It doesn't stop him one bit. He's kind of a cold-to-cover-up-inner-delicacy-type tsundere, but trapped in the body of a manly stubbly old killer. He does very little but bitch at everyone around him but he also gets really jealous when Otacon gets interested in girls.

OTACON meanwhile is a charmingly-naive pants-wetting nerd who build a giant robot to be like someone from one of his animes. Yes. Also he can't interpret proverbs and indulges Snake with meaningless but strangely candid philosophical banter, and breaks the fourth wall a lot. He has a terrible weakness for human trainwrecks, hence his fascination with Snake as well as a long line of increasingly screwed-up women. The women all die, and Snake is dying of a horrid wasting Olds Disease, though, and Otacon thinks it's because of his family curse and stays remarkably resilient over it all even though he cries once a game.

THEY FIGHT CRIME. Well, technically, they commit crime in the name of the greater good. And they're best friends and spend a lot of time mooning over each other.

Posting anonymously here, but being dominated by a woman is actually a pretty common fantasy among guys, according to some surveys I've seen. It's not a thing a lot of guys would confess in public, because of cultural ideas about manhood.

One, not only is that picture hot, but you need to get into Riyoko Ikeda. her manga bleeds butch/femme pairings out the ears. Rose of Versailles and Oniisama e, her most famous work, have both been made into anime (the former being more subtexty and the latter being flat-out shoujo-ai). Lililicious (http://www.lililicious.net/) scanlates both the Oniisama e and Rose of Versailles manga as well as a one-shot of hers, Claudine.
