God, the Twilight fandom just becomes more and more made of fail. Seriously. Vampire/mortal storylines have been around forever, SMeyer's is just the latest doing it wrong variety. Sookie, AB, The Vampire Diaries, Dark Freaking Shadows, and about a million other things came before that crap, Twitters. Get over it.

104. I don't think it's just fandom--every group has its immature people, or its nuts. Fandom does seem to have a larger share of this, but I've met plenty of mature people in fandom, too.

105. I guess this serves as a lesson to us: Unless you know your friend likes spoilers, don't spoil them and then expect them to want to watch your favorite show.
I, myself, need to remember this. XD

106. Actually, I really disagree with this one. Relationships can change. Some series purposefully hint multiple couples. You can write something that fits within canon and has a different couple than what's the "official" one. (I might be assuming you mean more AU than you do, though.)

120. You know, I've been thinking the same thing recently. I haven't read books in a while and it feels weird. (I never read Matilda, though...)

128. Come out of the closet! Dubs are cool! I think the crazy dub-haters are in a minority, anyway, they're just a loud minority. (...Just like the crazy, crazy dub fangirls.)

147. A lot of G Gundam was a big fat self-parody of the franchise. Personally, I think it's wrong not to laugh at it at times. It's still unashamedly my favorite Gundam series, but yeah, I think you're supposed to laugh.

150: NO, she's not. At all. Mello wears those clothes as a second skin, in a dangerous and sexy way (well, I know he's not real, but trust me, I soooo can see him as a real person). Madona is just a copy cat sometimes (not always, but yeah, even if she wants us to think she's the ultimate awsomeness.

151: I don't ship cartoons, i ship anime/manga, but I'm sure you put them in the same category. Pfff some "cartoon" charcters and plots are better than real actors shows. BUt since you are most probably just a troll...who cares?

Maybe Matt can have *some* appeal, but him stealing the spotlight of actually interesting characters shows how scary fandom can be, don't you think? =/ Only liking someone (who's even more of a tertiary character than a secondary one, if such things exist) for, uh, looks, and LOL PLAYING VIDEOGAMES doesn't make him worthy of such recognition.

I cried more for Kittan's death than ...almost any other television/movie character ever. It was way, way more powerful to me than Kamina's death because he bloody well knew what he was getting into, without the brashness and, eh, sheer stupidity that often resulted in Kamina's actions.

Can you elaborate? I'm curious to know why you think she's not feminist. (I promise this isn't an attack, I really am just curious.)

The most feminist thing about Buffy (the character and the show) for me is that the main female characters are human. They make mistakes, have fun, get hurt and get back up again. Sometimes they give up and sometimes they keep fighting. They're not one dimensional, they're real people. Not to say the show is perfect but just that this is something that really stood out for me.

120. I know what you mean, OP. The last time I read a book for my own pleasure was in July. The time before that... well, I can't remember. And perhaps even more sadly, it was only when I was halfway through the book that I remembered how much I enjoyed reading... :(

I still read though, it's just that the majority of it now tends to be fanfic :/
