Just a question! Just because I'm curious, really. How can you actually hate a character who is literally like... a year or two old and in maybe a couple chapters of the canon? Certainly not enough to give any sort of look as to what things would be like once he settles in? I'm baffled, honestly. I understand the sadness and regret and the "HE'S NOT MY DREAM" to an extent, but... outright dislike and hate?

That doesn't surprise me. The mod created an Encyclopedia Dramatica page for some Mary Sue fic she hated and encouraged members to flame the author, and no one called her on it. There were some really funny people there and I loved a lot of the early posts, but that particular mod post was a huge warning sign that things were going to go downhill fast.
