I love all the Power Rangers secrets recently <3 But to be honest, I'm...ugh all for Tommy/Jason. I just...THEY ARE SO OTP and yet I can't help but feel as though I ruin my childhood by thinking so. Lame, yes. XD

That's sad that people wish Zuko was off the show. I find comments like that ugly.

That being said, I am by no means a Zuko fan. Never have been. In fact I watched Avatar more for the Gaang and I find Aang to be more enjoyable and more interesting a character. I think I am about 1 of about 6 people who did...LOL.

But Zuko had his purpose on the show and while he ranks no where near the top of my favorites list, Avatar without him wold certainly not be the same show.

125. It's always nice to experience finding a character that is actually compelling in some way. But, honestly, I think the writers of ATLA didn't actually intend to make Zuko so compelling, because the show is supposed to be about Aang. If they focused on Zuko, I don't believe he'd be half as awesome as he is now.

141. I find their arrogance quite humorous. Maybe you need to be an avid video-gamer in order to understand? Even if some strips aren't about gaming, their attitude is quite reflective of the community at large. ;P

I haven't read any of the books, but from what I heard, it sounds stupid. Oh, and I've skimmed through a few online MSTs.

No problem! <3 One of the best Sailor Moon cosplayers I ever saw was black. She changed the hair from blonde to black to make it work with her look, and it was adorable. Some people might complain, but close-minded stop-having-fun guys aren't worth anyone's time.

101. You know, I had qualms about cosplay. And being a black female and there being a lack of dark skinned girls was one of the reasons I didn't do it. But what changed my mind is wanting to cosplay Iris from Hitman Reborn. Although she isn't black, I wanted to cosplay as her and thought I could pull her. Now I'm planning to lose some weight to do her properly in my mind and hopefully find a costume seamstress, hopefully all before next year's Otakon or Anime Next, or at the latest, Halloween. I mean there are the Sho's Hoes, but meh (I would totally do it if I'm with a Shouichi cosplayer). I want to do Michiko as well~! But be ashamed, go for it if you want!

102. They still my MMPR OTP. I raged when they kicked Kimberly off the show and Tommy ended up with Kat, so much I sweared off pink (come on I was like 13 or something). I still wish they ended up together (I remember someone telling me that in Dino Thunder or whatever recent PR season that Tommy ended up with Kat, I'm hoping they're wrong).

107. Why she has to be called a bitch? I understand what the OP is saying but it really doesn't make it better IMO. Nami is quite the rare kickass girls though.

124. Honestly, I don't mind the pandering if it doesn't become the only thing in the show that tries to cover the show's suckage (WEISS KREUZ, I'M LOOKING AT YOU), unless it's parody. I admit very few BL series that focuses on romance are good, but so few have a plot going other than that (like I adore Madness by Kairi Shimotsuki, anything by Yun Kouga [yes, even Loveless, and Ritsuka and Soubi's relation ISN'T pandering, it actually have a reason in the story] and the Hisame Tokaido series). I admit sometimes, subtext is the best text because you have endless possibilities. That kind of freedom is nice.

150. You know what? Shut up. I don't care for Twilight and its ilk but my god, the haters managed to be the annoying part of the fandom. Everyone fucking get it, you have the fucking books. I read a page of it and couldn't stomach the prose but my god, I doubt it's the worst book ever. Shit. It just irritates me that so many people are OBSESSED in hating the book, even more so than people actually loving it. And if your respect is based on someone liking a certain book that you hate, your respect isn't worth it. I can respect people who like stuff that I think it's complete shit, why can't you? A whole of a person should matter, not a fucking book that said person is reading.

Sorry, it's just that plethora of suck of the Twilight haters is really, really annoying now. It's like they never read a shitty book before.

101. I can understand why you’d feel that way, but I think if you really want to do it, it doesn’t really matter what you look like. There are a lot of cosplay snobs that think you have to look identical to a character to cosplay as them, but I saw some fabulous Kingdom Hearts cosplayers and two of them were black and one of them didn’t even have Sora’s ridiculous hair. They pulled of the characters beautifully, though, and their cosplay skit was hilarious. So, don’t be so afraid!

Nine times out of ten no one will say anything if you're a different skintone then the character you're cosplaying as. We're thankfully at the age where that doesn't matter so much. And Truthfully, we're all people in costumes. As long as you work hard on the costume, you should have no worries at all. Focus on the characters you're dressing up as and have a good time. And if anyone says anything negative, ignore them. They're one of few, after all.

So go on be that character you've always admired. :3 Know that you're not alone. I too am black and have cosplayed many characters of diverse skintones, and I have a ball. don't worry about the ignorant and remember to have fun. <3

I just want to say, to pretty much everyone replying, that it is not completely OUT THERE for someone to stop liking something because of other people, and it doesn't mean that someone is this feeble-minded waste of a human because they get sick of something being waved around in their face. 101. Cosplay IS fun! I hope you can get a cosplay group together. If you can't, you can always make new friends at conventions. It doesn't matter if you're not the same color, sex or whatever as the character you want to go as, as long as you're enjoying yourself, that's all that matters. (Then again, this is coming from someone who has no trouble crossplaying...)

I agree so much with everything in your secret, minus the crazy fangirls. Zuko is the reason I became hooked to the series and stayed for good. It's been a long time since a character's story has touched by heart the way his did.

(And this is coming from a diehard Lloyd/Colette and Luke/Tear shipper who tends to go primarily for the canon pairings) I saw Richter and Emil as having far, far more chemistry. And oh yeah, I RP an Emil who is currently with a Richter. Doesn't make me feel like a horrible person at all, sorry.
