105. That secret was begging to be bashed. It was a very rude thing to put in this community, imo. Especially since a lot of people here support homosexuality. There are also a number of people who are bisexual or homosexual (and any variation). So definitely not a smart move on the OP's part to post it.

129 - I think Herbert's Dune novels, collectively, are a masterpiece. I can't imagine anyone not being in awe of how intricate and beautiful they are. And David Lynch is a favorite director of mine, so I enjoyed the movie as well, though for different reasons than the first novel. Sting in metallic underwear, though? I could probably do without.

can i respectfully disagree? i only read the first dune novel, and while the plotting and scope are impressive, the dialogue and characterisations left me cold. i didn't hate it or love it. i thought the movie, a departure from the admirable intricacies of the original and plagued with lousy production values, was just plain silly. and c'mon. that arms akimbo and metal loincloth is slightly hilarious.

...People actually watch it for THAT pairing? I mean, I know it was canon, and I know people watch shows for pairing sometimes, but I was convinced that through most of S1 almost everyone hated Louise, and now it seems like everyone hates Saji.

Pay attention to fandom? Me? Apparently not.

LOL, My thoughts exactly!

I don't hate Saji personally and I can tolerate Louise more now in season 2, but they were never what interested me. I never thought anyone really cared much one way or the other...but...I too don't pay a ton of attention to fandom.

Ah well, the show is still rockin' XD!
