And frankly, I find your shallow comment regarding him insulting. Don't call one of the greatest literary characters in history pitiful and weak just because he likes to smoke tobacco. Honestly though? Characters are fictional, and there are worse vices out there for them to destroy their fictional lives with. I can understand smoking bothering you - not a fan myself - but seriously, I wouldn't consider a character weak just because he or she smokes. Human/flawed, maybe. But not pitiful or weak. *shrugs* Just a thought.
