God, there is a girl in my class who was squeeing over Debussy, pronouncing his name completely wrong. I offered to let her listen to my I-pod, which has a lot of classical pieces, she only wanted to listen to Clare de Lune. She later let me know it was only because of Twilight that she liked it. I was so upset! I also found out that they have and Iron and Wine song in the movie too. Arg.

125 - IA 100000000X. I hate that "Clair de lune" will be the only piece of music that any of those fools probably ever listen to.. and they'll all start saying Debussy is their favorite composer. He's one of the most influential and fantastic composers I've ever had the please of listening to. Doing research projects and performing his art songs has been one of my best memories of going to school for music. Anytime I see some imbecile spout off about Clair de lune being the best piece of music EVAAR! I just want to slap them since they probably have NO clue where the inspiration came from or what the piece even references. lol sorry for my rant.

174. Tell me, what alternate universe are you from? Here, romance has always outweighed the action adventure. Everyone has argued about who would beat up who since the dawn of fandom, but that is a completely different subject to the action adventure fanfic being outweighed by the romance fanfic. The reason you're hearing more arguments about who is buttfucking who instead of who could beat up who is you are in the wrong area of your fandom to find what you are looking for.
(lets never mind the yuri-heavy fandoms aren't referenced the slightest here)

111. l-lol, late reply is late and nobody's going to see this or care about it, but I just thought I should point out that, while it does happen in a lot of RPs (and in many different fandoms, I might add), there are a large number of players who prefer to put plot and character development over hot buttsecks.

Just saying.

Oh my God. I was JUST thinking that. My sister started playing it and I went "There's no way she'd be listening to that if it wasn't in Twilight." And I was right. And I was sad.
