I like Thirteen, but I think we just got too much of her, too soon. I wish we had been given more time to care about her on our own, instead of having all of her issues take over the screentime and force us to simpathize with her.

We got Chase's personal issues from episode 5 (nuns!), Foreman episode 10, and Cameron's well, all over the place. And then the whole Vogler thing.
Thirteen starts getting interesting S4E08. Sure she's had quite a lot of screentime in series 5, but a lot of that's due to the combination of terminal illness and massive fanservice (hello there, episode 6!) :p I don't know.
I just don't see how she's come out of the woodwork any quicker or had more screentime then Cameron did, the only difference being that hers hasn't been shippy. (or at least not with House.)

The original, inital character designs for Suzaku and Lulu were quite different, but in the end, it's what Sunrise wants, they just do what they're told. And that glass things is far, far from an original idea (and not drawn by CLAMP either) and the one on the left is designed by Hisashi Hirai (who again didn't draw that picture).

173. So what if the character is in a stable relationship? People aren't just going to slash him, but ship him with different females (and sometimes the girl, ship them with a different male, or femslash them).

174. I don't know what fandom YOU'RE been unless it was before the internet. I've been in fandom for the past 10-11 years and romance fics always outnumber the other genre simply because people got off their asses and written one or some. If you want more action fic, write some, don't hate on the people who don't play in the sandbox the same way as you.

I wasn't blaming CLAMP for the glass thing. Just Sunrise for the copypasta pose.

As for the original Lelouch and Suzaku designs somehow turning into Kamui and Syaoran, well... The blame is apportioned between Sunrise and CLAMP, though I don't know who's more responsible. Sunrise gets blame because they should know better than to accept character designs so similar to two leading CLAMP characters (and not just that, they're the protagonists to two of CLAMP's biggest manga), and CLAMP because they should have enough integrity to put their feet down in the face of Sunrise's pressure.

I'm actually impressed with how the Sunrise artists managed to take CLAMP's designs and de-Kamui and de-Syaoran them a lot for the series, but there is no reason for the CLAMP designs to look like they do.

Maybe it's because when a fictional character is a robot you can strip them of all our human meanness and self interest, and make them more pure and generous in their love than a human character could be.
