Bendis has got so, so lazy. He used to be an awesome writer. He can still write a good premise (House of M and Secret Invasion both start well) but then he just spews out paste. Janet died because all the other original Avengers have movies, except for Hank Pym, and no-one cares about him. Calculated shock is boring.
