117. Actually, strictly speaking, you CAN make money learning how to translate Japanese. Manga and anime are getting brought over more and more, and someone needs to translate them, and those people do get paid! (Also, people can make a living learning Japanese and getting a job teaching English in Japan. There are actually some really kickass programs in some colleges for this.)

In addition, I don't see anything wrong with learning Japanese just because you want to, even if it's just for fan reasons or because you like the language. Why shouldn't I learn a language I want to learn? If I studied German despite it having nothing to do with my future, just because I love the language (I do) and want to learn it (I do, eventually!), would you be just as disgusted as me as you would be if I said I was studying Japanese just because I want to learn Japanese?

I don't go for men, though I do find Japanese men as attractive as I would any other men in an aesthetic sense -- in fact, I'm more likely to be attracted to less bulky men, and that might be why on the whole I do tend to find the Asian body type more attractive. Also, I totally agree that every nation has sexy and ugly people; I do believe that adorable Asian girls are incredibly adorable, though, a lot of that having to do with their face shape and some of the expressions they make that I haven't seen many girls from other countries do (or pull off).

I think I'm sane when it comes to your food ideas, though. XD I'll try Japanese foods, but then I'll try foods from any country. And I do like a lot of the more common Japanese foods, but nowhere near all of it. No big deal if I don't like it, I just don't like it. And if I do like it, it's just because I find it tasty, not because it's ~omg Japanese~.

The last bit is fucking horrible though. Kick them in the face. B|

For the first it's just a personal preference thing, I guess -- some people just don't like non-canon pairings, and though I can't understand it I don't need to really XD -- but I honestly don't get anyone who says "canon proved this ship wrong!" who ships any other non-canon ship, either in said series or another one entirely. jkshdgskg idk in your case, though, OP, so I'm just sayin' in general.

That said, I still will never get the "I don't like this because it's too popular!" thing. I mean, it's possible to get... over-inundated? I can totally get not liking her character, even -- she can totally grate the wrong way, especially before you find THINGS out about her, and sometimes that doesn't even fix the first impression in retrospect -- but I don't really understand how someone can have no sympathy for her when everything gets revealed. She definitely has reasons for being how she is, and maybe they aren't excuses, but they are definitely understandable reasons.

102. Oh, me too...in his movies, anyway! I'm not exactly sure what it is about his acting, but no matter the role, he never fails to creep me out. That said, I think that makes me like/appreciate him. This might sound a little odd, but I think it takes talent to pull off the weird/creepy vibe he has going.
