134. You're actually wrong. D: Not everything he did in FFVII was his decision, the non flash back Sephiroth isn't even the real one. The real one died in the reactor after attacking Cloud. I still feel bad for him too, though.

... You know, I've heard so many people mix up the game right around what happened at Nibelheim, but that's a new one.

He didn't die in the reactor, actually. He got thrown into the lifestream, and he survived (much like Cloud survived his trip through the lifestream and wound up in Mideel). Sephiroth survived by maintaining his consciousness in the Lifestream through the power of his will, which is like, basically impossible for regular people to do, but it's very likely that Jenova (and her head) served as a buffer for him. In the lifestream he absorbed knowledge from the Ancients. What he learned is ambiguous, but he may or may not know that he's a parasite and not an Ancient. Either way, that's how he learned of Meteor, and the history of the planet's wound, and formulated his plan to kill everything ever.

I can't seem to find exact figures, but if Left 4 Dead "needed" a fandom, Valve wouldn't be suggesting it to reach higher sales numbers than Orange Box (http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/left_4_dead/news-10099.html). That looks like plenty of fans to me.

I agree about the finale, and about their marriage. But, I liked that they didn't kiss, because even though they love each other, they aren't IN love. Denny and Alan are the best example of brotherly love that has been on tv in a long time.

Not the OP but I don't think it is just a brotherly love between them. I honestly believe it's more than that. Perhaps not quite a romantic love and not a sexual love but somewhere in between all of that and a deep friendship.. In any case, they are such a perfect couple and I wish I could find the Denny to my Alan (or possibly vice versa)

If it weren't for the fact that I started studying Japanese back in my stupid fangirl days and did the whole scanslation thing, I would never have discovered my love of learning languages and I would still have "no idea what I want to do in my real life" instead of having an actual career aspiration (which is to become a translator -- and not of anime/manga, either). I may have picked it up for all the wrong reasons, but on the whole, I'm glad I did.

This! When I was in my younger teenage years I was obsessed with all things Japan and anime and whatever. I cringe at it now, especially since I don't hold anime in any higher regard than any other genre or go out of my way to seek new series' out anymore... but without that youthful obsession I would have never had the life-changing experiences in Japan that I did. I spent a year going to high school, working a part time job teaching English conversation to a small group of men at Mitsubishi, and living with a host family. Just plain ol' experiencing life in a new way. It opened my eyes up to what Japan really is, and so much more than that. I did a lot of growing up there, and becoming more independent and more of a humanitarian. It's no better or worse than anywhere else on earth, but it's home to me now just as much as anywhere else I've spent time growing up.

I do feel a similar annoyance that the secret poster does in relation to the people described by the secret, so I can sympathize... I view it as a type of ignorance, but honestly? These people will most likely grow out of it just as I did.

She's pretty easily a likeable character? She's upbeat, fun, and amusing in her way of thought. Obviously she's socially impaired and doesn't understand blackmail is bad, but it's an anime and those traits are played for comedy. Her developing into a more well rounded person is the point of the anime.

That's my take on it anyway. If she were legitimately a bad person she probably wouldn't have such a fanbase-->see Nena Trinity from Gundam 00
