I’m really sad because it rained earlier but I didn’t notice so I didn’t get to go outside and walk in it. It’s so rare for good rainy weather. The past few years it just seems like it either stops as soon as it starts, or happens late at night when I can’t go out and enjoy it. I’m so bummed at missing an opportunity like that.

I almost threw up today dealing with a shipment on my own after work that got all bungled. The carrier got to the airport and they couldn't find half the packages. And it was almost time for them to close and my supervisor wasn't answering her phone. It was awful.

I've been really social lately and eager to interact with others; I don't like crowds or strangers but when I get to know someone, I really like having them around. Dunno, I was just really aware of that fact today. I have little family left in my life and maybe I'm searching for more 'family members' through my friends and coworkers?

Bleh. Hormonal, cramping, cranky, freezing cold, just generally not having a great day. It was a struggle to get through work. A bit better now that I've got my heating pad and taken a painkiller, though.

Not bad. I'm doing a virtual wine tasting this evening on Zoom with ppl from my husband's work so that should be interesting. It's a lot cooler here too now (it was actually cold enough for a blanket on the bed last night, rather than just a sheet), which is great. The fire situation is a little bit better too, not under control yet but better. I'm hoping the coughing I'm experiencing is from the weeks of poor air quality and nothing else. My anxiety has been bothering me a little lately but it isn't too bad. I'm expecting a package tomorrow which should cheer me up.

Spent most of the day sleeping because I was up until this morning, spent like an hour on the phone with my mom, and otherwise just looking at stuff online/playing games/watching TV.

I need to finish my meal planning tonight because I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow.

Overall, I'm okay I guess. Things are just so weird and fucked up right now but there's nothing I can do about the state of the country (other than vote) so I'm just trying to be as positive as I can and not let myself get too freaked out.

It's going okay aside from, well, the world in general going to shit.

I've gained weight and lost muscle since March when I stopped exercising, and I'm jealous of my friend who's gotten her act together, her house clean, and lost a bunch of weight and started exercising. Which is dumb, it's good that she's doing well.

I just wish I could have my exercise routine back, but my neighborhood is so full of former gym-goers going for walks that my quiet nighttime rambles would look like a conga line.

On the bright side, I'll hopefully be growing my own veggies again pretty soon. And *knocks on wood* nothing in my county is on fire. I still have a job and a house.

I'm goofing off with some graphics apps on my iPad mini just to get the hang of them. I also finished all my laundry.

I recently reconnected with a friend I'd fallen out of touch with, and so far it's been really nice! We went for tea together, and talked for several hours without faltering, and it was just so comfortable~♥

Feeling angry at my neighbours right now. It's almost 4am here and they've been having a loud as hell house party since 10pm. It's starting to quiet down now, but it doesn't change the fact that we're still suppose to be taking covid seriously even if we are suppose to be easing out of quarantine right now.
If we get a second wave in this area thanks to their hoard of part guests, I'm going to blame them and go throw paint balloons at their windows.

There are a few. Hellboy, the original one, not the newer one. Underworld, the first three movies. John Carter was genuinely great. Snow White and the Huntsman and Huntsman: Winter War were both good. Both recent Jumanji movies are good. Oculus was a great horror movie. And Event Horizon is my absolute favorite horror movie of all time and needs more love always, it is such a great movie.
