Can I just give a huge ditto?! I could tolerate her in earlier seasons, but now she has completely ruined the show for me. I haven't watched it since last year. Not only is everything handed to her, the only way the can sell the "iconic" love that is Clark & Lois is by having everyone telling the audience how perfect they are for each other.

And yes, I'm a Chloe fan. I'm sure that will somehow make my opinion invalid despite the fact that I have no problem with Lana and wanted to like Lois.

143. I've never really understood that characterisation either. Juri? Weak? Hell no! None of the Digi-girls were weak, not even the sickly one and the five-year-old! They were all awsomely kick ass in their own ways; but especially Juri. Her story was wonderful. I still cry everytime I think of Leomon...

152. That was the only thing about "The Last Name" that really disapointed me. If the Light Yagami of the comics and the anime had *one* redeeming trait, it was that he would never have killed any of his family - his father died and his sister was traumatized as a result of his actions, but neither were intentional and I've always believed that he felt every bit of the grief that he showed because of it.

167. Eh. The revivial is quite artsy, but it really doesn't have the same emotional impact and consistancy of the original or the movie. Or, heck, even the original story, non-theatrical. I think it tried too hard to be artistic. Liked the fact that all the actors also played the orchastra parts, though.

My favourite character as well. Though, I wouldn't necessary say she is the best HiME, I think that honour goes to Shizuru. But as far as characters go, her story needed more fleshing out. Cause "Himitsu no ninja"? That was the best thing ever.

107. I hate the Duggars and the Gosselins. The Duggars because they're almost cult-like in their beliefs; their 'buddy system' bugs the hell out of me, and they give me an over-all very creepy, sexist vibe.

The Gosselins on the other hand - well, the parents - are a pair of moochers. Neither of them work. TLC does everything for them, basically. The sextuplets still act like babies even though they're how old now? Five? They still sit in high chairs and babble baby talk because it's 'cuuuute' and so they get more ratings on the TV.
Kate is OBSESSED with appearances and nitpicks and bitches everything everybody else does, especially what the kids wear. Jon lets her walk all over him and never seems to do anything really useful (which Kate then bitches about), and when he DOES do something, Kate has to henpeck and moan about it.
Not to mention the whole 'Aunt Jodi' fiasco, which I still haven't figured out. Something about Kate not wanting anybody else on the show to get paid, and then cutting out the only person in the family/friends who won't let TLC film the kids in her house, if I remember. :\ Google it if you want to know more? I guess?

So no, I don't think they should be ostracized for having a shitload of kids; I think they're rather crappy parents.

You can tell I'm really really sick of these people, can't you? ;D

I couldn't agree more. Fuck freedom of choice to have as many children as you want - such huge families aren't sustainable, and scientists are saying that over-population's as much a threat as climate change, et al. I just don't understand why this is either hugely played down or completely ignored.
