I agree that having 17(+) kids is irresponsible and ridiculous, but (I've been told) the couple with eight children had them all together (or mostly together). I don't think they really all deserve shows, though, but different people like different things.

I have a bit more sympathy for Jon and Kate, because no one really expects twins and then quints, but their behaviour is so awful I think CPS should take them all away. Especially Kate, she's just vile.

The Duggars on the other hand are just insane. The whole Quiverfull movement is terrifying. I can't imagine Momma Duggar would have much wee control either. We used to sing this song in high school which I think is oddly appropriate:

Martin Freeman as Watson will be brilliant! The words 'contemporary remake' worry me slightly, but then I just think, Martin Freeman! And it's all better again.

I don't think the Guy Richie film will be much good, but I'm excited about it anyway because the film crew were coming into the cafe where I work for coffee, and they were pretty awesome.

Oh my god, if you are talking about the dub version, you seriously need to see the original Japanese Digimon episodes. Seriously. It's like a completely different show, so many of the characters' personalities are totally different. Yamato was such a sweetheart and was actually sorta over-protective when it came to Takeru, as opposed to Matt being really distant to TK.

Plus Mimi was not a ditz, Sora was actually kind of a jerk, Koushirou was more normal, and Jyou wasn't an annoying spazz but was actually the most mature of the group. And Taichi was less of a, well, a shounen retard (cos I love Tai to death, but you gotta admit, he was a shounen retard).

Seriously, I just discovered the Japanese series recently and am in shock and awe. And trying to share the love. Sorry for jumping on you with my flailing, but man, you might actually like Yamato (and have your crush on Taichi further encouraged) in the original series. cccc:

129 - I'm not in the House fandom because I'm one season behind the series, but I sometimes hear about the immense Tritter hatred, and I just can't get it. I think he was a fantastic character, a really great opponent for House, and I loved the storyline with him. And if you ask me, House was a lot bigger ass at the end. (Not that I liked Tritter, but he was interesting)
Really, if people can love House I just don't get how can they hate his twin. :S

107 - On one hand I do agree, but then its not like they cant take care of the kids. The kids are taken care of and they're all happy. But I do think Kate is a total bitch and they're riding these kids for all the profit they can get. The Duggars on the other hand have had lots of time out of the public eye and Michelle seems to just adore each and every one. 107 - I can understand disliking the people with 18 kids, they've gone and deliberately just popped them out over and over with, if I'm not mistaken, only two pairs of twins. But Jon and Kate plus 8, they were victims of poor luck; first twins, then six in one shot.

We get that John and Kate didn't intend to have this many kids, that they only wanted one after the twins. But it is common knowledge that when you use fertility drugs, you run the risk of having multiple babies. So yeah, they didn't choose to have the 'tuplets, but they knew what they were getting into when they chose to have fertility treatments.
