I kind of agree (although it goes into other wars a lot for character backstory), but the wank about Mexico is kind of justified. In WWI (which is also a major part of the series), I'm pretty sure Germany tried to send a message to Mexico, urging them to go against America.

Also, speaking of Hetalia, I recall a secret with a screencap of some Hetalia kinkmeme. I can't find a trace of it, so I'm thinking I might be going crazy. Since the Hetalia fans (and haters) frequent fandomsecrets, does this exist, and if so, hook me up?

121. God I agree. I play an Asian character there, and jesus christ some of the stuff they ask, I have to really watch my answers. I remember my friend, who is China, was asked a question about the Dalai Lama...and she just ignored it. There was no way you could have done that IC and not offensive.

168. No, I'm afraid you're missing the point. Yes, it features WWII for its main plot, but what does Seychelles have anything to do with it? What does Cyprus have anything to do with it? What about Prussia? Vietnam? What does the Austrian War of Succession have anything to do with it? What does the Polish-Swedish Wars have to do with it? The creator does alot of flashbacks and unrelated strips to WWII. People can ask for Botswana all they like, and they could very well get one as long as Himaruya finds an interesting gag to do with it.

I have not seen Hetalia, or whatever it is, but many of those smaller nations I have seen people complaining about played a great role in the conflict even if they were just pawns of the British Empire. Some of the political troubles they have today can trace their beginnings back to that era. Israel, for example.
